I will say this: the fight was way closer than you'd ever know if you were just listening to those typical loudmouthed yanks doing the commentary (so annoying I switched to French broadcast).

That being said, Charlo won. I think Sergiy won a solid 4 rounds (arguably 5) but Charlo just seemed more in control with his jab. I think it was the 5th where Sergiy had a good round that the yanks missed, but that again was Charlo being consistent with his jab.

The right man got the decision, but both fought a tough fight and battled honorably. This wasn't no low-blowing clinch fest, the two guys kept it clean. Charlo was the taller man but he never tried to play dirty and abuse his height - a good win for a good, tough boxer.

Looking forward to where Charlo goes from here, I think it's better for the division that he won! Good fight!

Clear win for Charlo. I had it 8-4 and was looking to give more rounds to Sergiy because of his toughness and being aggressive. Charlo just hurt him too many times in the fight even rounds that he was winning.

Alright I see I might have been overly generous towards giving Dervy the close rounds, but the cards made it look like some domination, which it really was not.
