If no draw at least, Dervy was robbed.

Derevyanchenko landed harder punches in more rounds. Total punches don't matter. What matters is who landed the better punches in more rounds. I rewatched the fight today (didn't score it the first time and didn't care about who had who winning) and had him winning 7-5 due to him landing the better punches in more rounds.

Although I will say, this was not a robbery. It all depends on what you like to see in boxing. If you like jabs, and pick guys like GGG over Canelo, etc, then you probably had Charlo winning if you're being consistent with the way you score fight and not picking based on skin color. If you're like me and pick the guy who's landing better punches in more rounds, and not go by who's skin color/ethnicity/culture you favor, then you should have Derevyanchenko winning.

Charlo was the more efficient power puncher on top of everything else.

41% of his power punches landed as opposed to only 32% of Derevyanchenko's.

Efficiency and accuracy go out the window when your opponent lands more power punches than you in more rounds than you.

Derevyanchenko landed 163 power punches to Charlo’s 134. Derevyanchenko outlanded Charlo in power punches in 8 out of 12 rounds.

Derevyanchenko, looking at some of the rounds individually, had the more dominating rounds in terms of hard punches landed.

Not a robbery, but I had Derevyanchenko winning because I prefer the fighter who lands more hard shots per round.

All of these GGG fans who say Derevyanchenko should have won are funny though. They prefer jabs only if the shoe fits. If they had Derevyanchenko winning this then they should be consistent and have Canelo handily beating GGG. Same for the other side tho. If you had Canelo beating GGG then you can’t have it both ways and say Charlo won this fight. Just my opinion. I mean you can have anyone winning or losing whatever fight you want, but if you’re not consistent then your scorecards should be taken as a joke/trolling post if you change your criteria on scoring depending on who you’re rooting for.

At the end of the day clean, hard punching is only one of the criteria for judging a fight anyway.

Judges also have to consider effective aggression, defense, and ring generalship equally.

I thought Charlo clearly beat Derevyanchenko even if the fight was close.

That’s fine, it was not a robbery/controversial imo. I personally liked Derevyanchenko’s work in the fight over Charlo.

That’s true about official judges. But I was pointing out the unofficial judges on boxingscene. Have a set philosophy on scoring fights and don’t change it based on fighters’ skin color/culture/ethnicity.

Some fans having Derevyanchenko winning had Canelo losing to GGG. For opposite reasons. No consistency in their scoring. They favor the jabber based on who they are rooting for. “If the shoe fits” type of situation.

Problem is, you need to have KO or outland charlo by 2x to possibly win the fight. Bias it there with judges and networks. Its like winning against canelo on points) impossible

You don't score fights based on jabs or power punches. You score round by round, who does the better work. Sometimes jabs are really good punches and easily scored, other times not so much etc. You're being way too simplistic in your analysis. There is a great deal of nuance that exists when comparing any two fights.
