That is possible. Stevenson had a deadly straight left. But Beterbiev has faced big punchers already and took their power and knocked every ***ing one of them out. He could do the same for Stevenson who was KOed a few times by guys who didn't punch nearly as hard or as often as Beterbiev. i'll pick the guy with 100% KO wins and zero losses.

Though his pimp hand was strong, he was essentially a one handed fighter past his prime. Also Beterbiev stopped the guy who nearly killed Stevenson for a useless Pythagorean theorem

not really a hot take. Stevenson left hand had C4 in it.

There's a reason why Kovalev ducked not one but two purse bids because wanted nothing to do with Him

It was because they had an HBO contract in the works and the fight was an impossibility because Stevenson had already signed with SHO while Kovalev was under contract with HBO. It's not that hard to grasp this.

Fckn Kovalev called him a piece of sh#t on syndicated cable TV for fcks sake! How much more of a call out do you need?

Stevenson wanted none of that and wound up almost dying from a non-puncher. Now what do you think Kovalev would have done to him? He would not have recovered is what.

I don't think so. He would have had a punchers chance because of his power. But I think Beterbiev's chin would have held up better than Stevenson's. I think he would stop Stevenson in a shoot out.

Unfortunately son, Haymon and Stevenson did not have your confidence to fight Beterbiev. Haymon could have easily arranged it but he knew Stevenson would have lost brutally to the white fighter and Haymon abhors seeing his favored black fighters lose to white fighters.
