Don’t think so. Thurman moves why more and fights off that movement pretty astonishingly and is a much better counter puncher than Mosley.
I see Thurman hurting Cotto badly, early, (as was usually the case for Cotto anyway). Probably more than once, but Thurman always backs off from the crazy power and athleticism he really has to pace himself. I don’t think Cotto gets stopped. Likely ends up a tough and close fight. Leaning on Thurman though. He’s a bit bigger, longer, probably slightly more stamina, more power, much better two handed fighter too.
Thurman is/was also very elusive, he is not nearly as easy to hit as Mosley, and nor is Cotto not easy to hit. Thurman can score easier than Cotto can. If you look at Cotto’s career, he beat guy’s by breaking them. He fought through storms to beat them. But if they are still around, he can find himself with a loss or in trouble late as he’s usually fairly gassed.
