Thurman. Bigger, stronger. Prime Cotto was 140 guy. If you mean Cotto from first years at 147, I believe Thurman still beats him.

I think Thurman wins. When history books are written these 2 will be considered 2 very good serious operators at WW.
PAC the flyweight has wins over both.
What does that say about PAC? People say srr was so great as he has legitimate claim for being best ever ww and middleweight! Well PAC the flyweight has a better ww resume than ww campaigners

Nice way to turn this thread into a pac thread.

Thurman has a shaky chin this would be a hell of a fight but I gotta go with the pre plaster beaten Cotto by decision.

I’ve got Cotto. He wears him down and TKOs him.

Thurman takes this. Stylistically, Cotto seems to have the biggest issues against explosive fighters but does far better against more technical fighters

Lol, people forget how great Cotto was in his prime. In 2007 until that first round vs Marg 1. He was absolutely brilliant. Thurman is losing to a 40 year Pacquaio ffs. Do you think a prime Cotto would lose to a 40 year old Pac?

Prime Cotto lost to Pacquiao by stoppage at 144. Pac was not 40, but still. Pac by 40 is not much worse than 30 old pac.
