Teofimo is getting schooled. All I keep hearing is about Teofimo power. When you see Loma playing peekaboo with his hands down and turning him constantly you will realise all that power in his hands wil be fruitless if you can’t land itLOL nice try! Keep making assumptions about my if you wish. Did i say experience does not matter or that Loma skills were not considerably better? Yeah that's what i thought...
UK kid knocked Loma down and he's not exactly fast, Teo is faster and if you apply basic physics, can generate more force than the UK kid. That is Teo's opening and like Manny vs Marquez a brutal KO is possible. He has to land that punch, but since the UK kid managed to do it, it makes Teo dangerous. Mikey had more skill and experience than Spence, but size just like experience matters.
If you know boxing like you claim, you know that a big eraser can be an equalizer in the right hands. Ask RJJ who's permanently damaged because of the less skilled Tarver. Kavaliauskas managed to land one on the better skilled Crawford.
Take a deep breath before replying, you'll avoid making assumptions about people's comments that do not make any sense.
Enjoy the fight! It'll be a good one, 50/50 IMO because Loma could school him and make him quit or Teo could land something nasty!Comment

Would need to go check the numbers, but Walters was about -455 before the Loma fight and Teo about -365, so the bookies are giving Teo a slightly better shot, but not too much in it.Btw, at a time Loma-Walters, Walters was considered as top10 p4p and should have brutally KO Loma. Same goes to Rigo btw who should have break his jaw
Size matter to a degree and it is only kindof advantage Lopez has. Though i have doubts he will be able to use it properly, people tend to underestimate Lomas power and timing.Comment

I actually quite like the fact that their is no rematch clause. Makes feel like each one will give it that extra bit to make things more definitive.
Also I feel like a rematch clause would be to the benefit of Lomachenko who is far more established and has more to lose. Not sure if Teofimo is complaining but if he is I have no idea why.Comment

It really is crazy how Lopez has been built up off that one big stoppage of Commey. The fight right before that he struggled with not just the Japanese fighter, but with self-doubt, and what sounded like, minor depression. And if you look on his resume’, try to recognize anyone other than Diego Magdeleno. I think he’s in for a big-time humbling.Comment

I was questioning what the guy said, doesn’t mean i think Lopez will win. Don’t be so sure he’ll just pick himself up and walk him down. Getting hit by Lopez is different than Linares. And actually Loma was expected to beat Walters per odds. But don’t get me wrong, i remember in the boxing community a certain sector was hyping Walters up to “expose” Loma. It was a very good win I just don’t think Walters is as good or as difficult as Lopez. You guys are comedy.
But here's the thing. I'm just a guy on a forum. Don't listen to me. Why don't you listen to Bradley and Ward - multi-time champion boxers - tell you the reason Loma has very little to worry about.
And this is what I saw especially against Nagatani. Same thing you saw. So don't dispute what they're saying. They're legit flaws of Teofimo and you guys are rating his 'eye test' performances WAY too high while dismissing Nick Walters who was expected to beat the snot out of Loma at the time.
Shoulder roll until he sees a clear shot, then attack the body viciously, wait for them to open then nail them with a hook.
Do you REALLY think any of that - ANY of it - will work against Lomachenko?
Even if he does manage to drop Loma, as we saw with Linares, Loma will just get up and walk you down.
Experience matters, people. It matters.Comment

Well said. Very good wins for Loma but nothing out of this world. I do boxing fans calling for those fights and certain haters saying he was going to get exposed, but at the end of the day he was favored to win both fights by a considerable margin.lol@walters being top 10 p4p in 2016....he wasnt even on the espns "receiving votes" list for the top 10 in 2016 because loma was his only fight of 2016...his previous was a draw with jason sosa..
rigo was p4p rated but he was also coming up in weight
most gave walters and rigo a good shot....and to his credit loma took care of business easily.....theyre good wins...lets not be out here acting like theyre amazing w's....i have nothing against loma but you are blindly trying to rate those wins much higher than they are and act like its an amazing featComment

What system does not like this privilege hype-job?! The 'system' gave Lomachenko undeserved opportunities ; starting with a shot at the vacant WBO 126 title that he failed to capture against Orlando Salido. The fact that Salido was stripped on the scales is the reason how Vasily Lomachenko made 'History' -- WHAT A JOKE! ESPN, wont tell you about that, nor mention Saensak Muangsurin.Pal, Loma didn't lose that fight to Salido, he lost to a system that did not like him. Cheater Salido, 50 extra low blows and not only that but he was a middleweight when he came in the ring and yet Loma almost knock him out in the last round. But hey, everyone’s entitled to their opinion and no one can stop you saying that vaccines cause autism, no matter how many times that claim has been disproved.
Real FACTS.
Teofimo has two world-level opponents on his resume, a total of nine rounds between the two. Teofimo is green, Bumochenko thinks this is a cherry-pick, but its going to be sour. HELL NO, Bumochenko is not getting credit!
You're back! I thought you skipped town when you heard that Teofimo was coming to takeover. I'll see you October!Last edited by 1hourRun; 09-17-2020, 07:49 PM.Comment
