Why did Crawford struggle vs Kavaliauskas?

Why did he look so flat in that fight?

Is he overrated? Underrated Kava? Kava had a good gameplan? Crawford slowing down? Crawford used to fighting much lesser opponents?

I don't think Kava is that good I really don't. I actually think there is a very real chance he gets upset tonight by Zewski.
I don't think he beats even a shopworn Brook, he certainly isn't troubling Spence if hes near 100. Danny, Manny, Porter, Ugas, I don't see the top WWs struggling with him.

Kava went to the olympics and all that but he never won at the highest level. In fact he got stopped a whole heap of times by non-punchers in the amateurs. He was sort of a second tier guy (being kind) who got played with by anyone elite or close to.

I can't believe the silly shots Crawford was getting hit by in this fight. For whatever reason this isn't the Crawford I am used to seeing.

What do you mean they're both fully pledged welterweights.
I didn't see no size advantage? If anything Crawfords taller, longer and wider.

It always amazes me how people who sign up to a site like this ask questions like this.

If Mayweather fought a bunch of phone booth fights like Castillo Corrales would he have the record he has?

People don't even know when a fighter is doing something different vs when a fighter is MAKING his opponent do something different i.e. (CaneloGGG2)

If you are coming forward fighting to get a stoppage you're going to get hit. No risk no reward. Unless you believe in that "if the knockout comes then it comes" logic that fighters who usually don't stop their opponents like to spout. Guys like Bradley and Ward criticizing him for pressing during the fight. How many opponents did they stop be it bum or elite?

It amazes you people sign up to forums to use them as they're intended?

It was hardly a phonebooth fight, certainly not my idea of one.
