Really as simple as that. The only person I can think of that could get after his opponents and still not get touched is prime Roy Jones.

I think it's good to struggle sometimes. It puts you in situations where your Plan A isn't working. It makes boxers adjust and show the levels in their preparation and gameplans. The best fighters of all time have a Plan A Plan B Plan C Plan D. That's one thing that I heard loud and clear from Mayweather. Crawford struggled early against Kavaliauskas, but he showed that there were levels to his game. He showed an ability to adjust, dominate, and, ultimately, conquer.

Bud Crawford showed he was one of the best fighters in the world.

I didn't think Crawford looked that great against the one legged Benavides either.

I think this fight was tougher honestly. An underrated win. How does a Danny Garcia beat a one-legged Benavidez? Benavidez clear favourite in that for me.

It was hardly a phonebooth fight, certainly not my idea of one.
You missed the whole analogy smh...

Probably because Crawford is overrated by many and his opponent was underrated by many.

I don't think he struggled as much as he fought ******ly. Go back and look at the instructions Bomac was giving him and what Crawford was doing in the ring. He wasn't listening. He was doing his own thing

The Mean Machine would beat Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman, have a close fight with Shawn Porter. He is a top 5 welter.
