Ring yes, the rankings are compiled by a panel of experts.

Boxrec no, the rankings are compiled by an algorithm created by a bunch of math nerds.

Boxrec rankings are garbage. Ring and TBRB are the most respectable imo

I just checked out TBRB and I appreciate you mentioning it because I hadn't heard of it before.

Boxrec base their rankings on who does the loudest farts or something. Got some crazy rankings alright.

            NOT AT ALL!

            RING lost all credibility...

Even before this Garbage RING lost all Credibility YEARS Ago. Youtube Channel is AWFUL as well no wonder all of their Videos struggle to get 1K Views. I do like Cynthia Conte though!

As for Boxrec, only good for Fighters Profiles, they have Awful Rankings

I seriously think that all of us could do a better job than Boxrec.

You guys say Boxrec is based on an algorhythm, but the algorythm sucks dxck.

Like even casuals rankings would be better than Boxrec

Like these are their current P4P rankings

              Lb for Lb
              1 Saul Alvarez middle
              2 Tyson Fury heavy
              3 Errol Spence Jr* welter
              4 Gennadiy Golovkin middle
              5 Deontay Wilder heavy
              6 Anthony Joshua* heavy
              7 Terence Crawford welter
              8 Manny Pacquiao welter
              9 Vasiliy Lomachenko* light
              10 Mairis Briedis* cruiser
              11 Alexander Povetkin heavy
              12 Sergey Kovalev light heavy
              13 Shawn Porter welter
              14 Daniel Jacobs super middle
              15 Callum Smith super middle
              16 Keith Thurman welter
              17 Josh Taylor* super light

The Ring aren't perfect, but at least they make sense.

I don't base everything on it but I do think they provide a point of reference.

                What do you guys think?
Well you have to keep in mind Golden Boy owns Ring. That said, it really depends, if Fury is #1 and ring champ, it's legit and has weight.

BoxRec falls behind periodically. Ring is owned by Golden Boy Promotions, so that says alot.
For quick data I will hit Boxrec though.

                    How is it the opposite?

The Rings rankings have been go-to rankings for over 100 years.

Boxrec’s rankings have been considered a joke their entire distance.

                    Are you new or something?

I'll look at Ring's at the same time as I look at TBRB's. I see the latter as the best rankings.

I haven't looked at Boxrec's rankings in ages. They're awful.
