This isn't a bad post. I agree with a lot in it. Mikey obviously looked horrible against spence. But I don't rule him out against "this version" of Pacquiao. Mikey is a timing puncher. And look what Marquez did to Pac with a lil timing. DannyG is a fighter that I view the way most of you view Mikey..... I just see so many losses waiting to happen. He never looks good. The only thing that he has is a UGLY left hook that lands because fighters are used to fighting elite skill. And DannyGs hook gets thrown from an angle so far off, it looks like how females look when they throw a baseball! I'm not saying this happens, but Mikey CAN time an old fighter. And Mikey CAN outbox a fighter that isn't a high skilled boxer. Those are both "winnable" fights. Doing it is another story.

Also I'm not saying Mikey resume is otherworldly. But to have a Spence, Broner, Easter, Vargas, Salido, and add in a Pac and a Danny G, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that resume. It turns elite with those last two. It's solid without them. And my whole point, is that Mikey isn't done yet obviously.

Ya I can agree to this. I think Mikey vs Pac would come down to Pac's legs. Can Pac still move in and out and be elusive or will he be predictable and get caught with a nasty counter punch. Mikey is a really good counter puncher and if he can learn to use his new weight and not lose speed he could hurt Pac. My opinion on Pac vs Marquez was that he was repeating what he was doing all night long. That punch he got knocked out with he did the same thing earlier in that round. He was feinting and the first time he did not throw a convincing jab so the next time around Marquez knew to eat the jab and throw his hardest punch ever and the rest is history.

If Mikey can get Danny and Pac on his resume then it all changes.

I have to hand it Eddie Hearn. He is a master at sinking other people's money. DAZN is damn near bankrupt. Top Rank won't touch that fight because it's too pricey. Where is he going to find anywhere between $35-$40 mil from to make that fight happen?
