Because Canelo’s contract with DAZN is a GBP contract. So technically Canelo has to sue GBP. Canelo is suing DAZN for their attempts in approval process that affects the GBP contract.

People don’t realize but Canelo is doing Oscar the favor because GBP is pointing fingers to DAZN. GBP can’t make the fights unless of course GBP pays the difference of opponents which wasn’t agreed upon from the beginning. GBp can’t make the fights or have the final say for what’s to be shown on DAZN.
