The WBO needs to order that bout ASAP by making Shawn Porter its mandatory challenger. It's obvious that the winner of Spence/Garcia is not going to fight Porter again; Least of all, Erroll Spence unless he has a strap.

Also, Pac doesn't need this kind of fight from Porter at his age and at this current stage of his career. It would resemble and become very reminiscent of the Jeff Horn fight in which Manny lost.

As far as Porter's goes and to his credit; He is willing to fight Terence 'Bud' Crawford. He would just relish the opportunity. However, Terence Crawford doesn't want to fight him by using the friendship excuse.

Shawn IS the mandatory (that's the [M] next to his name).

So they're trying to force it now that Shawn took out the IBO Welterweight Champion with ease.

It's like I told people months ago, the IBO and the WBO are aligned, so that fight was positioning to force this fight. Had Formella won, he would have been the mando.

Good point. He might pull a Rid**** Bowe and vacate the title. That would allow him to be ranked in WBA, IBF and WBC but he'd be a clear smoke ducker if he did that.

Crawford ain't ducking Porter, if it is forced, I'm sure he will do it.
No way he could give up a belt, it is all he has unlike when Bowe did it, he had 2 others.
Crawford would be the laughing stock of boxing.
He probably wouldn't get another shot again, Manny or Spence probably would pass, because he is with Top Rank and the risk vs reward would be lost if he can't prove himself at 147, he has beat no one at the weight.
All the other 147 top guys are fighting legit fighters, Crawford hasn't, can't despite that.
