Problem is that it's doubtful that Arum will want to meet Haymon halfway when Bud can't "sell out a family dinner".

This isn't like Wilder/Fury where both guys are a draw. Porter drew fairly good numbers against Formella, a guy nobody knew going in, so we know he can bring fans. It's one-sided.

It's highly doubtful they'll come to an agreement - plus Porter talked to Crawford who basically told Porter to wait.

Yea but can’t wait too much if WBO is ordering it or a purse bid something has to give!

Well, they ordered Danny Swift and that didn't happen either, so there's always a chance, like I suggested before, that Crawford signs to fight one of these no-picture guys and NSB sells it as another #1 P4P win on the resume.

I’d settle for Thurman vs Bud or even Ugas would love to see Garcia or Ortiz get a shot at him, but highly unlikely. Like others said earlier he’d prolly ended up fighting one of the guys with no pic on those rankings!

Yes of course, but if Top Rank pulls out, it’s unlikely Haymon is going to fund a substantial purse bid. The mandatory position doesn’t mean a lot

But that begs the question. Would it be Top Rank pulling out first?

Because IF that happens...IF Crawford fights anyone not circled in red...I would hope everyone here would finally acknowledge that Crawford has been smoke and mirrors.

Updated, since Kenny Porter announced that Showtime wants the smoke, friendship be damned. Let's see if Crawford responds.
