    Sounds like this is more about DAZN tightening the purse strings.
    They thought giving Canelo that huge deal would cause a massive influx of subs and that hasn’t happened. Even a third GGG fight wouldn’t be a huge event. The second fight did lower PPV buys than the first one.
    They already screwed Canelo last year by not letting him go after all the belts at 160 to try and force the GGG fight.
    Canelo has the leverage right now as taking a year off won’t hurt him but DAZN not having its biggest draw and the negative PR will hurt them.
    Also if Canelo’s team allowed GBP to sign a deal without them seeing it that horrible and grounds for Canelo to find new representation.
