I believe. I also believe that part of the reason is because he holds nothing back. When he landed on Breazeale for instance, that was all the power Wilder had to give, delivered efficiently to Dominic's head.

Which is also why he's got a hard time getting off..you know, so to speak.

I watched a guy convulse on the canvas after wilder knocked him out and his wife wept because she thought he died.

So, I think he punches pretty hard.
      This right here.

Being put down is not the same as being chinny. If you have no chin, you don't get back up, that's the difference. Fury got back up when he shouldn't have so is definitely not chinny.

Doesn’t matter what you think, you will watch Wilder fight no matter what because either he’s adding someone to his highlight reel collection or he’s gonna be on someone else’s!

Trying to deny Wilder's power is legit just makes you look like a fool. The guy has scary power. The kind that puts big men asleep with one shot.

Saying Fury is chinny is also ludicrous. The guy has a great chin. There's no way he would have gotten up from that Wilder shot without a great chin. That punch was thunderous.

People don't understand that this is the HW division ANYONE can get touched even those with great chins. Even the HW's without high KO % still hit extremely hard. Fury got dropped by Cunningham years ago, so what? Cunningham was an in shape 210lbs and Fury walked onto a great shot.

Ali had one of the greatest chins ever yet he was dropped by 185lb Henry Cooper early on. Any man weighing over 180 or so who knows how to throw a proper punch is capable of generating a lot of power. Guys who have boxed for years even more so. Getting dropped at HW does not mean you have a bad chin. Not at all.

In the last five years, Wilder knocked out three opponents who had never been stopped before.

He knocked Luis Ortiz (who was and currently is a top five heavyweight) out twice.

Gerald Washington and Johan Duhapas are the other two he knocked out. Never stopped before they fought wilder.

Again, he’s fought 41 heavyweight and knocked out 40 of them. The one who didn’t get knocked out is the best out there.

He also knocked that guy down twice.

We’re also questioning if the heavyweight, who’s entire strategy is to hit you once and win, can punch... really?

Also could David Tua punch? I’m not sure he fits your criteria for a good puncher.

What about Earnie Shavers? I don’t think he can punch according to your criteria.

Good luck answering my common sense!

Wilder got battered from pillar to post by the only decent HW he fought in 13 yrs and the guy (who’s chinny) took all his best punches.

Fury was a lot heavier so he could absorb the punches more .Wilder has concussive power if he lands at the end of his punch with momentum behind it but that doesn’t mean he’s still the hardest puncher .Hes not the only one that put Fury down ,and actually Fury looked more stunned in the Cunningham fight so we don’t know if it’s the weight gain against Wilder or not.

One thing that is constantly proven is the myth Wilder only needs one punch and the fight is over ,are most on here really watching his fights ? He struggles in almost all of them .

Interestingly Duhaupas took everything Wilder had before being stopped on his feet after a 37 punch combination

Povetkin put him soundly to sleep with one clean punch.
