There is a 0 chance that Floyd would ever got knocked the **** out like that let alone by an above average fighter. Thats a huge knock on Mannys legacy to me. Proof that while he was a great fighter, he was not on the GOAT level like Mayweather.
Everyone on this board know about that fight. Everyone is free to rank Pac as high or as low as they damn well please. Most know about Pac's great wins including a KO of Cotto. Mayweather had a much harder time with Cotto than Pac did. He couldn't knock Cotto down let alone knock Cotto out. So if we are going base Pac vs mayweather on one single common opponent let's make that opponent Cotto and not Marquez. I bet you don't like doing things that way. How about Mosley? Mayweather damn near got knocke out by mosley while pac dropped Mosley and beat him easier than floyd did. you judge a boxer's worth based on all his fights and not just one fight. Most fans don't think Mayweather is the GOAT or even close to it. Yet here you are trying to jam your bias lofty opinion of Mayweather down our throats. Pac beat Marquez twice. he always fought Marquez without any catchweight. In contrast mayweather fought a Marquez who had not yet used enough peds to built himself into a welterweight and he fought him at a 144 pound catchweight. Not only that, Floyd ignored the contract weight of 144 and came in as a full welterweight. I think Pac could beat Mayweather now if mayweather agreed to fight him.Pac looked great against Thurman.

Marquez never did anything like that, or even close

Pac's official weight-gain (40lbs) is the 2nd highest recorded weight-gain in boxing history... by 1 pound

and the guy who gained 41lbs, was a heavyweight WHO USED STEROIDS

it is clearly obvious what happened, stop being ridiculous
It took him how many years to get that? Since you're using official weighins: From 1995(Ignacio)-2008(DLH), he went from 106-145. That looks normal especially if you consider that he was a malnourished kid from the start.

      13 years 39 lbs? That's normal.

Pac was robbed by Bradley in fight prior so was overly aggressive and reckless.
People did question Pac a legacy after the ko, and Pac came back from that awful ko and answered questions like a boss.
          Truly awful thread

Except Mayweather re-matched both of his toughest bouts in Jose Castillo and Maidana and beat them both handily in the rematches. Marquez was robbed in the 3rd fight with Pacquaio and avenged it with that KO in the 4th.

sorry son, but the reason why that weight-gain is totally unprecedented is because it is impossible to achieve naturally

the fact that you dopey pacstains know absolutely nothing about boxing... as you blurt out dopey excuses for Roidiao... is why the world hates you little scumbags, m'kay

Because the 'many' people that think Pac and DLH beat Floyd usually have some kind of damage to their brain, case in point.

                How is that a fact?

It was already confirmed that by 2005 he was at 139, 2006 at 140. If he gained an extra 12 lbs of muscle in 2008-2009, where did it go? The Math doesn't add up. Are you really this delusional?

Did Pacquiao fight a Marquez being pulled up two weight classes and then cheated again on the scales?
Pac would have toyed with that version of Marquez.

JMM was on his way to being knocked out, from all appearances, but he was sitting on Pac throwing a weak right jab, which he did as if on queue.

Also JMM was roided to the gills and strong as a honey-badger.

only two types of people mention fight-night weight when discussing boxing

                      1) a pig-ignorant casual-fan... 2) a absolute shlthead
