THAT would be a good fight.. Yarde vs Smith...

Kid proved he has a heart against Kovalev...and would give a chance to both guys to prove what they have.

Alvarez took a lot of punishment tonight.

Didn't know what to expect coming into this fight. I was surprised Smith outboxed Alvarez however. Hard to believe Smith has stuck around all these years since his fight against Fonfara (in which he was almost KO'd early).

Smith's boxing ability has improved and it was evident tonight and against Hart. Dude hits hard and he throws alot of punches. He has his limitations but it will be a hard man to beat him. As for Alvarez, he had a nice run but I think it's come to a close. It's not that he can't compete against fighters but I think he will always be outhustled at this point unless his power lands.

I see what your saying and yes smith hasn't faced a puncher like beterbiev. just to be clear I'm not saying smith can last a full 12 rounds of all war against beterbiev but I do think he can withstand his power in the early rounds and possibly KO beterbiev who has been down twice in the early rounds by lesser punchers than smith.

I just hope it doesn't go to his head. His last 2 outings he outworked and overpowered the better boxer but if he goes into a title fight thinking that he can just overrun them with work and out-tough them he's looking at another broken jaw.

Deffo, I think common Joe is the strongest dude at 175. But I don't think he's levels above Callum Johnson regarding power, no shame being dropped by him. Smith is definitely stronger than Jeff Page Jr., who knocked Beterbiev down, but didn't hurt him. I don't see how Beterbiev's chin is weak despite the fact that he's been down. Same with Sullivan Barrera who goes down multiple times but doesn't seem to have a weak chin.

Bazooka Joe smith upgraded to Rambo Joe Smith!

He showed a new bunch of arsenals that would make him a nightmare to fight!!

Alvarez is built like an old oak tree yet Smith absolutely became the lumberjack an pulverized him!
