I'm watching back the highlights of this and I can't help but be really impressed with the lead straight right that did all the damage before the light jab tipped Alvarez over and ended the fight. We all know that Smith can **** but that right was straight and lightning fast. Alvarez never saw it coming. All the talk at the minute will be about the uppercut that Povetkin used to poleaxe Whyte, but I think that right hand is just as good a punch.

I had predicted joe within 7. I wasn’t to far off. So much for black Robb who posted earlier that joe was a one trick pony and I couldn’t disagreee more. Not sure why he would think that. I did blow the Povetkin,Whyte fight though. I had whyte within 6.

Great point! I was at that fight rooting Joe on but Bivol is a stud. Alvarez doesn't throw enough punches and his iron chin was finally dented. Age and Smith's swarming style, with power were his downfall. Beterbiev may be too much for Joe but his chin is not the greatest. Would love to see it!
