Comments Thread For: Thurman to Crawford: Send The Contract, Let Me Post It On IG And Sign It Live

I know folks around here don't particularly care for punch stats but at the time of the stoppage, in round 9, Crawford was ahead of Kavaliuskas by less than 10 landed shots. And he got dropped by Kavaliuskas (we all know that was a legitimate knockdown). Credit to Crawford, he got the job done and ultimately got Kavaliuskas out of there (and from what I can tell Kavaliuskas did appear to be a more than capable boxer), but that was a dog fight. And I watched it -- I didn't just look at the compubox stats. Kavaliuskas gave Crawford all he could handle for those nine rounds. I think even Crawford would admit that. -
And he also did the highest rating of 2017.

I want Crawford to focus on securing the Pac fight like they said they are doing and if that fight cant be made then Thurman is the next best option. Thurman has no options and is not going anywhere. You tell me what Thurman is supposed to do if he cant secure a fight with Crawford or Spence. I don't know if you watched Thurman's last two fights but he looks extremely vulnerable. His body is failing him, he knows this too. He needed another surgery after fighting Pac. He is looking to cash out and seems like he already has one foot out the door. Dude didn't even seem upset losing to Pac because all he cares about is the money same as Mikey.Comment

Pac is 42 and has no obligation fighting prime unbeaten welterweights back to back.
He will fight Mikey. Don`t let Crawford fooling you he is negotiating Pacquiao.Comment

So the guy with the biggest TV ratings (for years btw), who was recently in the biggest WW PPV of his run, is clout chasing?

It’s not clout chasing if you’re the one with the clout.
This is why kids laugh when adults use the phrase lol https://t.co/gT95Ztw9X8Comment

He didn't even wait for it to be sent.... he went out and sought the contract from them. He did the leg work.... went to they house, rang the door bell. All of a sudden, all the lights in the house went off. No one home?

Moving up and fighting Patrick Teixeira is his best option. Has a belt at 154, is willing to fight, isnt a diva, and his wins over Gallimore and Adames are better than anything Thurman or Brook has done recently.Comment

But , honestly, I believe other 154 champs would KO Crawford than. They are not big names, but too big for him.Comment

That would be good but I believe he has a mandatory against Castano next.Comment
