I know folks around here don't particularly care for punch stats but at the time of the stoppage, in round 9, Crawford was ahead of Kavaliuskas by less than 10 landed shots. And he got dropped by Kavaliuskas (we all know that was a legitimate knockdown). Credit to Crawford, he got the job done and ultimately got Kavaliuskas out of there (and from what I can tell Kavaliuskas did appear to be a more than capable boxer), but that was a dog fight. And I watched it -- I didn't just look at the compubox stats. Kavaliuskas gave Crawford all he could handle for those nine rounds. I think even Crawford would admit that.

I don't know if you watched Thurman's last two fights but he looks extremely vulnerable. His body is failing him, he knows this too. He needed another surgery after fighting Pac. He is looking to cash out and seems like he already has one foot out the door. Dude didn't even seem upset losing to Pac because all he cares about is the money same as Mikey.
I honestly think pac wants no parts of Crawford and despite Thurmans recent barking I don't see him fighting anyone in the top 10 without a tuneup. So I think brook is the best option of what is available.

Pac is 42 and has no obligation fighting prime unbeaten welterweights back to back.

He will fight Mikey. Don`t let Crawford fooling you he is negotiating Pacquiao.

Moving up and fighting Patrick Teixeira is his best option. Has a belt at 154, is willing to fight, isnt a diva, and his wins over Gallimore and Adames are better than anything Thurman or Brook has done recently.

But , honestly, I believe other 154 champs would KO Crawford than. They are not big names, but too big for him.

That would be good but I believe he has a mandatory against Castano next.
