Comments Thread For: Thurman to Crawford: Send The Contract, Let Me Post It On IG And Sign It Live

A healthy Keith Thurman is undoubtedly one of the best welterweights in the world. A motivated Keith Thurman is a different type of animal altogether. The former unified welterweight titlist continues the process of returning to the version of old as he aims for a ring return sometime in the 4th quarter of 2020. While there are ideas in mind for the manner in which he plans to return to the title picture, there is one option in particular that has piqued his interest; a showdown with undefeated pound-for-pound entrant Terence Bud' Crawford (36-0, 27KOs).

Looks like Crawford is a very popular man at the moment. He's getting called out one day from Brook, the next day from GRJ and then now Thurman.

    Make it happen, good fight!

      Thurman is soft these days.

No threat at all to Crawford.

I'd rather Gary Russell fight than Thurman. He might be the weakest link at welter.

Bob Arum needs to let Crawford fight some elite Welterweights.

Crawford will fight another faded former champ or bum instead. He's a hype job cherry picker. He re-signed with Top Rank and ESPN exclusivity to duck the top guys.

Good fight. I think Thurman can win that fight.

Bud stop running and ducking. It's time for you to step up your game now. You've been ducking Manny, Swift and Shawn Porter for too long.

Now, it's your moment to shine. A fight with Keith Thurman would be your career defining fight at welterweight until you get Erroll Spence, Jr. So get with it.

Keith Thurman doesn't have a belt. He is not a priority like he didn't consider Crawford a priority when he had a belt. Hopefully Crawford nor Spence gives him a fight.
