I still don't care for female boxing

Must guys just dont get it. If you are expecting women to fight exactly like the men, you will fail to appreciate a good cat fight.
I see folks complaining about the two minute rounds, what they probably fail to understand is that women are not built like men, these ladies need to go on to give birth and be moms -- who wants to see a grandma in a coma? come on.
I think womens boxing is cute. But on the real, I think Delfine Persoon kicks most of your asses.Comment

I fought amateur for 7 years before turning pro. What do these woman do, spend 3 months amateur before turning pro.I desire 0 woke points, just providing a counter opinion. Nor did I gather that he didn't want women to have more air time but I guess that's on me for not making that obvious assumption. But you're right, just being overly sensitive about it ins't going to help women's boxing get any better. Though crapping all over it is probably even less helpful.
I would like to see the same amount of rounds and round length for championship fights and 10x3 for lesser fights, yes. I think it would help. but not a catch all or anything.
It's a young sport still in comparison to the men's side and the biggest problem is the lack of talent pool, in my opinion. There's like 1 or 2 good women per weight class and they rarely seem to collide. Usually it's 'elite' vs some house wife going through her boxfit phase or whatever. Then yes, they can't even get the poor gal outta there and decision them so you have valid points that I can appreciate.
I suppose my original intent was that women's boxing has a lot of flaws even though I enjoy it so he could have elaborated more.
As for watching a highly likely 12 round decision outcome fight. If it's a good fight it's a good fight. If there's action and some back and forth it'll keep my attention as long as it competitive. Here and there maybe I'll see 2 overly defensive guys matched up and get that "groaner" feeling but usually it's horrendous mismatches with a few good fights sprinkled in. Honestly ever since watching Patrick Day get KO'd horrifically live and never wake up I haven't been as hyped to watch knock outs. I'm that guy yelling "stop the fight!" at the TV while everyone else is screaming for blood. Guess I became a bigtime puss after having children.
If I am sitting down to watch some fights the last thing that I want to see are 2 women fighting as pros when they are but amateurs. Take the time to grow with the sport ladies, before calling yourselves professional, it's embarrasing...…...Rockin'

Facts.if any pro women's sport had to survive on its own, sustaining itself only by the money it generated, there would be no market for it. You would have empty stadiums and terrible ratings. Again, mainly because the talent level is comparable to early HS boys, and no one wants to watch those sporting events on TV, or wants to really attend them in person (unless it's your kid etc).
It's happening with all sports now, and there's no real market for it, it's just being forced on us because everyone has to obey to the new feminist order.
Hearn keeps talking about doing an all-female boxing card, I'll be interested to see how many viewers it gets.Comment

Yes, the part about being still amateurish, but her guts is something else. Did you watch her fight against McCaskill? I saw Lomachenko the same until recently, as far as the amateur style. Not easy to shake off.I just looked at Taylor. And while she is good, she is still fighting like an amateur. Throwing quick shots over powerful shots. And who is this champion at 43-1 that she is fighting here. She still looks like an amateur, an inexperienced amateur. Once Katie had to get down and fight I saw many flaws in her armor though. Having said that, she has been the best womans fighter that I have seen recently. Who else should I see? ………..Rockin'
The other women in boxing I like are Claressa Shields and Mikaela Mayer.Comment

Negative.
I have to agree with the creator of this post.
You wanna discuss sexism? How about women’s boxing being shoved down the throats of 85% boxing fans that could care less?
I’ve known plenty of good female Boxers, trained in the same gym as a former world champ.
Doesn’t mean I want to see it outside of gym sparring.
But that’s just me, if others enjoy it right on, but don’t act like you ain’t a boxing fan if you don’t like women’s boxing.Comment
