How many woke points you trying to score though? The guy just said he doesn’t care for woman’s boxing!! then you say he should at least criticize the 2 minute rounds and 10 round championship fights. Did u not hear what he said?! He doesn’t want more female boxing air time. Is 12 rounders and 3 minute rounds what u want then? Do u think that will somehow create more exciting female fights? Do u think the Knockouts per minute of airtime will increase? Less decisions? Or do u just want things to be the same as the men? This is prize fighting. I think female fighters are tough as heck, but the one punch KO, stoppages, knock downs aren’t as common compared to the men. They seem to take a better punch than give one, if u analyze the sport. That’s fine but power and KOs sell and the men are judged on that with popularity and purses. Maybe they should change the rules and then we can see, I could be wrong? But if someone wants to tell me how the third minute and last two rounds are the most important for creating Knockouts in female boxing let me know? How many promoters are going to put 3 minute twelve round female fights on their cards if most watching assume it will go the distance? Female mma fighters are much closer to the men in skill than the female boxers. Do u want female tennis to be scored the same as men? The matches will/were much longer. Way less aces. I love the sport and the long rallies, but it took way longer to score the same amount of points men did. I can appreciate a good female boxing match, watched them since the start. But the goal is to produce the best product. There’s a good chance u will see less female fighters if u go by just trying to be woke about it. Now be honest, when u see two men with very poor KO ratios, and it’s a twelve rounds? Are u excited or do u groan a bit? Be honest?

SKILLED is the key word. Who, out there, has spent her time learning the trade before turning pro. I'll tell you who, Lucia Rycker, and she's retired. That is just about the only woman that I would say was a true professional.........Rockin'

Yeah but at least you know that those two can actually do damage to each other.

For me, it's Katie Taylor. I'll sink with her, similar to Davis. She's special. Watch her next week if you have time.

The only female I like to watch and follow is Katie Taylor. She is an anomaly though. Women's Boxing needs to be 3 minute rounds with the same gloves as men, if it wants to be taken seriously. In the main, I'd rather watch men's amateur boxing than female pro boxing.

You're good man. Other than Lucia, I think woman's professional boxing is hilarious and just there to fill spots on fight cards. Can't be a promoter only throwing 4 fights per show, unless they were all title fights. The traveling circus needs filler too...…...Rockin'

I desire 0 woke points, just providing a counter opinion. Nor did I gather that he didn't want women to have more air time but I guess that's on me for not making that obvious assumption. But you're right, just being overly sensitive about it ins't going to help women's boxing get any better. Though crapping all over it is probably even less helpful.

I would like to see the same amount of rounds and round length for championship fights and 10x3 for lesser fights, yes. I think it would help. but not a catch all or anything.

It's a young sport still in comparison to the men's side and the biggest problem is the lack of talent pool, in my opinion. There's like 1 or 2 good women per weight class and they rarely seem to collide. Usually it's 'elite' vs some house wife going through her boxfit phase or whatever. Then yes, they can't even get the poor gal outta there and decision them so you have valid points that I can appreciate.

I suppose my original intent was that women's boxing has a lot of flaws even though I enjoy it so he could have elaborated more.

As for watching a highly likely 12 round decision outcome fight. If it's a good fight it's a good fight. If there's action and some back and forth it'll keep my attention as long as it competitive. Here and there maybe I'll see 2 overly defensive guys matched up and get that "groaner" feeling but usually it's horrendous mismatches with a few good fights sprinkled in. Honestly ever since watching Patrick Day get KO'd horrifically live and never wake up I haven't been as hyped to watch knock outs. I'm that guy yelling "stop the fight!" at the TV while everyone else is screaming for blood. Guess I became a bigtime puss after having children.
