A fight vs Plant doesn't have to be a unification bout to be a big fight. That is still a really quality fight, WBC belt involved or not.

I didn't say it had to be a unification or wouldn't be a big fight. However it's a good possibility that without "unification" status there won't be enough $$$ offered up to interest Plant who would almost certainly prefer a Canelo fight over it.
