Steve Kim shilling for ESPN and his love for GGG, insinuating that Kovalev was a bad choice instead of fighting GGG. Lol. DAZN pays $4bil but they wouldn’t have their reserve for Alvarez?!

However, it did just purchase the rights for Germany's Bundesliga soccer league for more than $4 billion.

A source familiar with this relationship told ESPN that officials at DAZN have grown increasingly frustrated with the matchups that have been formulated for Alvarez.

Only DAZN would be suckers listening to Hearn that Smith is a “bad choice,” a guy who holds the Ring and Super WBA. They think a fight with Smith for the DAZN UK launch doesn’t bring subs for a fight against Alvarez?! LMAO

This is all Eddie Hearn. When Ghallagher started talking about Sky and PPV I knew Hearn and dirty politics started to brew. Hearn still bending over to Sky.

This is bad karma for Hearn.

What happened to him gladly taking a substantial pay cut? Is this also on top of DAZN offer?

Contracts are contracts at the end of the day and it's the person discretion what he decides to do. Do you go full out what you've signed on for or do you recognise the situation everyone is in at the moment and offer to negotiate a middle ground?..

If he ends up fighting Ryder or Quigley then that's only fair IMO

I'm sure DAZN wants that 3rd GGG fight but they can't really force Canelo to do anything he doesn't want to do

They probably want to cut his pay for not making the fights they really want on their APP but Canelo doesn't have to accept a Paycut especially if he already been Guaranteed a certain amount each fight no matter what

This is Eddie Hearn middling with the DAZN heads to say his fighters don’t want to fight...

How could DAZN even expect or want Canelo vs GGG 3 during a the early stages of the post pandemic? That fight is more ideal in 2021.

I think Kim is just instigating.

Everyone in boxing that fights during this pandemic is taking a steep pay cut; either fight for less or enjoy your 100% of nothing.

UFC can afford to offer the same purses because they pay their fighters peanuts, comparatively, so they have the cash on hand. Boxing doesn't work that way.

The crops are bad this year. They can either pick what's out there, or stay inside and wait to see how things look in the spring.

Fook that. Pay the man what you agreed or fook off.

These companies make these agreements with boxers & usually can end them at any time also. You can't get the best of both sides. Kill a contract when a guy goes downhill or make him except less when the outlook isn't looking great. Pay the man his money or he's a free agent.

Granted I get that Canelo could not wanna be a free agent if he feels like less money by DAZN beats the best money he could get outside of DAZN, but that's a whole other situation although a relevant one for Team Canelo.

DAZN should live up to the contract and pay canelo the full amount that is in the contract. Contracts should be honored by both sides.

Lmao. Leave it to Deez Nuts to overpay all of those other dudes without question, and attempt to barter with boxing's current 2nd biggest star(Pac #1).

I didn't think he was worth it because he's only big in boxing and latino circles(Latinos admittedly are a huge fanbase), but that's neither here nor there at this point. You signed a contract, pay the man.
