I think its funny how all the guys saying Morales are pretty much just saying Morales because they're Mexican too.
Thanks to the guys calling them out on it.
I thought this was boxing not a race war.Comment

This post is spot on and I absolutely agree. Manny Pacquiao didn't become a complete, well-rounded and fundamentally sound fighter until he reached the welterweight division. 147 was Manny Pacquiao at his peak. It's debatable overall. Remember, Pac is finished work and Loma is still going. His story is not done.
Now, on topic, Pac definitely wasn't better at the time he was at 130. He had sick power and speed, but he most certainly was not more skilled or more accomplished than Loma at that time.Comment

YDKSABTerrible statement
Qawi was a rugged guy to be sure but he was not very skilled and badly overrated just because he's tied to Holyfield. He really beat nobody of significance at CW to say things like he would 'chop up' any CW over the last 20 years. There have been many good CW's in that time incl. Jirov, Toney, Cunningham, Mormeck, Bell, Haye, Gomez, Usyk, Lebedev, Gassiev, Huck and Briedis. In my estimation, several of those are better than anyone Qawi beat and all of them would likely stand a good chance to beat him. We know for sure that Usyk would embarrass him.
K, bye.Comment

In his second pro fight, he met a viscous, crafty pro who was breaking all of the rules.
In his second pro fight, he learned more than most pros do in their first twenty fights.
He didn't get beaten down. He adapted and by the end of the fight was asserting his dominance - and left absolutely no people in doubt as to how an immediate rematch would have played out.
If a fighter - in their second pro fight - taking on a seasoned veteran with ten championship fights under their belt - gets blindsided by the reality of dirty fighting, then manages to overcome this and win the last half of the fight, doesn't signify a warrior spirit...Comment

Really good match up!
Loma’s angles and combinations or Morales’ counter punching and timing would be the key factors in this fight!
Going with Morales by decision but he drops Loma!Comment

Bit of a cherry pick there don't you think? You'd pick a time when Loma was like only his 2nd or 3rd fight into his professional career and I'm assuming you're placing him against what would be Erik in his prime. Use your head, Lomachenko would be able to box circles around Erik Morales. As good as Erik was in his prime he would get completely schooled against a top pedigree fighter like Loma the only way Loma loses is if he decides to fight a ****** fight which even with Salido he never did. The Salido fight was arguable contentious the numerous lowblows back to back with the referee taking no action.... Hardly a good representation, not unless you expect Erik to do that for 12rds with a dodgy ref?Comment
