I gave it an 8. Loma was arguably the greatest amateur of all time and a heavy favourite to win. His inexperience as a pro and Salido missing weight are the only things that prevent it from scoring higher.

You’re such a casual i actually cringed reading that pathetic post.

When a seasoned veteran fights a guy with ZERO pro fights and MISSES WEIGHT, comes in 10+ pounds heavier than his opponent, hits him with 42 low lows and still almost gets knocked out that is not impressive by any stretch of the imagination.
In fact, it’s one of the most embarrassing fights I’ve ever seen...this seasoned pro had to miss weight, come in heavy, and foul his opponent 40+ times and still almost got sparked. Had there been a competent referee Salido would have been disqualified.
There is a video on YouTube that shows 42 LOW BLOWS landed. Now because your a casual and never actually boxed (why are u on this forum then?) I’ll explain something... Getting 42 power punches from a pro boxer with 8 oz gloves in your balls is nothing short of completely debilitating. 1 of those punches would put a ***** like you on the ground.

          Here’s some *facts*

          -Salido deliberately missed weight.
-Salido had an 11 pound weight advantage fight night which is a HUGE advantage, especially at the lower weight classes.
-Salido fouled Loma 40+ times and didn’t receive a DQ or a single point deduction.
-Salido still almost got knocked out in the 12th and AVOIDED a rematch with Loma.

How can you possibly argue a guy that did all that, to an opponent with ZERO pro fights can get any credit at all?

I wish you casuals would quit posting, it’s embarrassing.
          Stick to video games.

Missing weight, low blows, almost got knocked out, dirty tactics, headbutts and still an SD I rate it a good 7.

I gave him an 8. He fought very well but he came in way over weight and fought very dirty. If he came in on weight and fought clean I would give him a 9 or a 10.

Gave it a 10. Huge win over an elite level talent in a fight he was a big underdog.

                  7.

                  - Salido was unprofessional in not making weight
                  - Salido was brought in to lose, it was pretty clear Bob thought Salido was low risk/high reward for Loma
                  - I actually don't hold Salido's low blows against him, that's something the ref dropped the ball on
                  - Even though Loma had fought and knocked out a top 10 guy in his first fight the Salido fight was still only his second fight
                  - The next fight Loma would take an even riskier fight against GRjr; imagine if Loma lost that fight he'd be put in against chumps in 6 round fights

Now that I write all this I should've rated the fight higher lol
