What if SRR never gave LaMotta rematches and said “that was easy work.”

    Insecurities sure are a biatch
Duran beat Barkley at Middleweight! That’s gangsta! “Easy work” but Floyd preferred milking PPV with cherry picks afterwards. Berto over Cotto or Canelo... tsk tsk. I guess Duran felt Middleweight was important.

        Right?

        115-113x2 and 114-114

        "Easy work"
        "Dominant"
        "Clean"
-Canelo fangirls on Canelo "beating GGG"

Then when GGG wants a rematch after a second controversial decision

"Canelo doesnt need to give a rematch, he won easy "
Canelo "I want to unify 160"
        "GGG needs a belt"
"No, I will only fight GGG in vegas"
        "GGG too easy"

        Now.

"GGG is ducking Canelo for Szermata "

Lmfao. You cant make that **** up.

Mayweather did what no other fighter has done in history. Become great in his own terms.

It’s different to those of us that are Duran, Ray Robinson, Pacquiao fans that admire those that take
On the biggest challenge not just what lucratively makes sense.

For Pacquiao to be known as a Mexican killer had to
Run through 3 of the beta ever in Barrera, Morales, Marquez.

Duran moved all the way up from
          135 to 160 and kicked Barkley’s ass.

          Robinson nuff said.

But considering that May fought killers with his fragile hands and all the money he made while never giving a blood and guts fight?

          May deserves props, I’m
          Just not a fan.

For Lineal and the Green strap at Middleweight. “Easy work” doesn’t make any sense for how he called those fights yet didn’t want it all for 1lb difference while making huge PPV for the rematches?
Come on bidness! For someone who wants to act so smart the obvious answer is sitting right in front of you.

            GGG.

You're welcome. It would have been no different than what Canelo did at 175. Cherry pick the weakest title holder so they can pad their resume.

Who do you think would have been the mandatory to a cotto/Mayweather winner? And what do you think they would have done soon after?

Drop the belt to not fight GGG and EVERYONEwould have called him out.

Even Canelo, the hero of your gay fantasy did just that and he isnt even 1/10th the cash cow Mayweather is.

If it was going to be easy work for Mayweather to fight st 155-160 he would have done so, but Mayweather is a businessman. That risk isnt worth the "reward ".

If Floyd chose Berto, why would he or fans care about cherry picking? Surely Lineal Middleweight means more than Berto if we’re talking cherry picking. You gotta think!!
I’m just going to assume you weren’t watching Boxing at that time.

When he fought Cotto the first time it was considered by many a cherry pick.

If he were to fight him in 2014 it would have 100% been deemed a cherry pick at the time for an easy 160 title.

It’s a lose lose for Floyd.

It’s hard to say. It would depend who the promoter is. Plus industry would talk about either a catch or the full. Considering Cotto is an average sized Super Welterweight (not big) then it’d be interesting how industry would push the challenge bringing up scenarios from other matches of the past. How would Floyd defend himself regarding the weight if he said “East work” nonetheless.

The fact of the matter is if Floyd wanted to come in lighter against Cotto or Canelo for a Middleweight title starting from 155-160, we wouldn’t know how Floyd would up to these power. Remember that Canelo at 152 was able to tumble Floyd off his feet when he messed up upon receiving some shots from Canelo.

So these variables can’t be seen as a cherry pick. Keep in mind Floyd wanted to fight Welters consecutively starting from Maidana to Berto while still holding a 154 Belt(s). How is that possible!!!

The reality is Floyd didn’t have confidence at 154+ post career or else he would’ve went after Cotto’s 154 or Canelo’s 155. There’s no logical explaination for this.

Ok so Floyd already fought Cotto at 154. Are you aware of that?

Again, you clearly weren’t watching Boxing at this time. That’s cool, but you should probably do further research before making posts like this to avoid it.

Floyd fighting Cotto was not feasible at that time. Not a single person was clamouring for it and if they did fight it would be seen as an obvious cherry pick. That’s just a fact.

Floyd fought Welterweights mostly because he’s a welterweight that’s why. He’s never weighed in more than 151. So obviously lost of his fights are going to be against Welterweights.
