Nobody will accept that fight as "undisputed" nor will it have the finances involved in AJ vs Fury or even AJ vs Wilder.
AJ cannot be considered best without fighting Fury and Wilder. Just like he got more recognition fighting an old, out-of-retirement Vlad then he did for beating Charles Martin for a belt.Comment

Nobody ducked Wilder. He was the most protected champion in boxing history who came unstuck when he cherry picked Tyson Fury because he and his team thought Tyson was done.Comment

He will be pissed with Eddie, just like Eddie was pissed with him when he had to cancel a Wembley date because Whyte turned down a shot at AJ.
I feel for Dillian, but he really should have taken that chance when it was offered to him. He has always insisted on being his own boss, and never signed an extended deal with Matchroom, the way AJ did. You reap what you sow, I guess.Comment

Fury, like Spinks, will be "the man who beat the man" but if you give up the belt rather than fight your mandatory, life moves on.Nobody will accept that fight as "undisputed" nor will it have the finances involved in AJ vs Fury or even AJ vs Wilder.

Whyte will be in possession of the title which can be unified and Fury will not.
As far as finances go, Fury vs Miller or Rivas don't exactly scream moneyspinner and this 3rd Wilder fight looks to be a tough sell.Comment

Beceause Fury's boxing is extremely boring to watch. Even his rematch against Wilder was more WWE wrestling than boxing, he was clobbering down Wilder instead of punching him.Fury, like Spinks, will be "the man who beat the man" but if you give up the belt rather than fight your mandatory, life moves on.

I see where you're coming from on that, he did seem to fall in on himself quite a bit and smother his own work at times.
I actually like Fury's backfoot game though. If he goes back to it against Joshua or Whyte I'd favour him to win.Comment

Wilder spent all that time running from Whyte, that's why this is happening. How did Dominic Breazeale even get a shot?
It's funny Whyte has to take legal action to get one of the supposed WBC Champions to fight him. And now they are going to make Fury a franchise champion just so he can run away from Whyte again. Haha. Add to that Fury gave Whyte his word he would fight him over a year ago now and backed away from that when it became possible.Comment
