It's difficult to empathise with the WBC, they've brought all this on themselves.

Joshua and Fury wouldn't be meeting until end of next summer regardless so there's plenty of room to fit Whyte in February - which is probably the most sensible, sporting solution.

But since when did the WBC do 'sensible and sporting' when it came to addressing mando's under Wilder?

They've taken Whyte's fees/money for so long, by rights he's deserving after waiting since 2018.

Stop hating, if you were a boxer whom would you employ as your promoter? Arum or Hearn or Finkle?
Was Hearn doing a dis-service to Whyte when Whyte refused a 4m deal to fight AJ? Should Hearn have put more pressure on him to accept or visa versa? Did he dis-service Whyte when other offers came his way in terms of title shot ladder?

He's been Mando for a while and turned down multiple chances to move forward. I could sympathise had he never got a sniff at anything but he has and turned his nose up.. Now all of a sudden when noises are getting louder regarding AJ and Fury, legal action is taken with the WBC..

Is that Whyte having enough? Whichever way Hearn would know about this legal action beforehand so either they've fell out or Hearn has given the go ahead... All while trying to convince the public Fury and AJ is at the forefront.. People are clearly asking if there's a hidden agenda somewhere..

Hearns great at his job. However, Many people on here pick up on him shifting attention/blame to his fighters but seems you like to just exonerate him from anything..

        Clearly something isn't right.

The WBC should take some blame in this. It shouldn't have got this far. They should have just stripped him of his ranking when he refused his chances and had done with it...

Very true my friend, Fury has now cemented himself as the face of boxing.

He's even dominating this very forum, there's usually at least 3 or 4 active Fury threads, more than any other boxer.

Fury is taking over and there's nothing anyone can do about it lol

They sure let it drag on too long. Probably punishment for sidestepping chances to actually fight.

The AJ/Fury will generate too much money for them to drag it out any further imo.

I think if it was solely down to Eddie and Bob/Frank they would scrap wilder/Pulev and wrap them both up till they fight... The risks of either losing/injury is too high for them.

Something doesn't sit right for me. I think its more than Whyte just simply trying to force a fight..

This euro-bum Shyte, should be banned from boxing like that other chump Tyson Fury, the BBBofC failed the sport again. These egregious scandals only happens in the failed dreadful HW division. I remember Alexander Povetkin failing doping test and getting his way in court vs. Deontay Wilder in the end.

              crime pays.

Dillian Whyte case kicking. This is a FÛÇKING mess.

Dillian Whyte is going to get that shining WBC belt and go for a victory streak of WBC mandatory fighters. Simply, both Dillian Whyte and WBC are culprit in this.

Good, hope Whyte wins the case and bankrupts the WBC and be dissolved as an organization.

Well said. Whyte has been offered opportunities but has turned them down. The positive test results also set him back.

Most of Whyte's setbacks have been his own doing, turning down an eliminator against Ortiz was the biggest setback. If he took that fight and won it, he would've been in the ring with Wilder instead of Ortiz for the rematch.

He also turned down an eliminator with Pulev for the IBF and refused an AJ rematch because he was offended at not being first choice.

The opportunities have been there for Whyte and the main reason(s) he hasn't had a world title short is due to the decisions he/hearn have made.

Now that AJ and Fury hold all the titles, he's realising that he ****ed up and may have to wait for AJ and Fury to fulfill their contractual obligations, have at least two fights and only then will he get another opportunity, 2022 at the earliest.
