No, are you joking? Margarito has beaten other top ten fighters. Margarito isn't rated number 2 by the ring for no reason.......

he isnt chasing dum dum, they offered to fight Floyd twice while HE was chasing the Golden Boy...When the Golden Boy said" Hell no prettyboy you're not on my level son"..then Marg offered again...Floyd said "No, household names and pillow hands only..P4P BABY!"....SO Arum dropped the offer..

Tony wants Floyd because he's number one p4p...... Margarito should fight Quintana or Collazo. Forget everybody at 154, I wana see Margarito become the true champ at 147 before he moves up and takes on Ouma.

When there's several other points made and you keep talking about the money, that's why it's beside the point.

Taking a safer fight in Spinks to set up the bigger payday with Oscar makes sense when the payday there could be in the neighbourhood of double that with the magnitude of that fight.

Anyway you want to look at it you were trying to downplay Spinks, and for the 3rd time now, he's at LEAST as accomplished as Margaritio if not more so. Spinks moved up to 154 and beat Karmazin on his first attempt. His resume has bigger wins on it than Margarito by a long shot.

You can't call Spinks a poor fight based on what he did in his last outtting.

but i agree, once floyd moves on to fight mosley and DLH this will be forgotten, but that doesn't take away from the fact that most people agree, that margarito matches up a lot better with floyd. both at the stand point of competition, and of entertainment for the fan.
Like I said, you keep neglecting to mention that the only way people will remember anything about 'ducking' is if Margarito goes on to make a name for himself with important and meaningfull wins. Something he hasn't done as of yet.

Its not hard to be #2 when youve been there forever and other guys have lost in the process while he's fighting chumps. He still is ranked behind Baldy & Floyd so what does that say about him.

You guys can boost up Cintron all you want but the fact is he was a very green prospect who had just had a life & death struggle with Teddy Reid in his previous fight in which he almost got KO a couple of times.

Please dont keep braggin on Tony's wins over no name guys like Hercules or whoever.

You guys will say anyting to boost that garbage resume. All he has to do is fight one guy and everyone will say he's the man and give him his props but he wont do it and you guys dont even demand it. Why cant he fight Rivera, Callazo, Ouma, or whoever. He's the only guy who is supposed to be somewhat elite but has no big wins at all. There is no other fighter like that.

Why cant he just get that 1 win and why cant you guys demand it of him. Are you going to be so much homers that you wont even get upset at him for keep fighting these bums and now he's talking abou Clottey or Cosme Rivera after all these good fighters have said they would fight him? Stop being hypocrits

was beating Judah a meaningful win? after Baldi beat him, a 16 to 1 underdog? or Sharmba Mitchell...who was making his debut at 147 aswell and was recently DESTROYED by Kosta. Are you serious? Do you really think those are MEANINGFUL wins? ..Please enlighten me..YES or No..

Ouma said he would come to 147. Your right about Margarito, now stop switching up all the time.

Ofcourse he wants to fight Floyd but that **** doesnt make him special. ****ing Mosqurea, Williams, Augustus, and a bunch of other guys want to fight Floyd to but that **** doesnt make them worthy. If Margarito never put up 8mil then no one would even be talking at all about this fight because his resume is complete garbage and unworthy.

All he has to do is beat Callazo like you said or someone like that and he would get mad respect but he wont do it
