Is Floyd making 8million for the Spinks fight?

that's very true, but not by any merit of spinks', just because of the other two guys. My whole problem with floyd on this is that legacy just became a factor to him when Arum put the money on the table. I understand him wanting mosley and DLH, those are defining and money making fights, but legacy wise it wouldn't hurt him to fight margarito (unless he lost), for the same reason that he would follow up w/ mosley and dlh, and he would make more money

I think you're over estimating Margarito and under estimating Spinks.

It isn't like Margarito has accomplished anything so grand to force the fight. The only factor here was the money Arum threw out that no one can confirm.

Corey just won a strap at 154 agaisnt the top rated fighter there. Margarito failed twice to lift a strap from a meidocre 154 title holder.

Spinks gets him at 154 with a strap prior to a show down with Oscar.

If Tony was smart, he'd pick up a few big wins and force the issue so that this fight can still take place. Nothing's to say it can't.

But predicting that opting a safer rout towards a mega payday like a delahoya fight is ducking a guy who's career win is Kermit Cintron doesn't fly.

All the huffing and puffing isn't going to write history. What happens from here on in -in the ring- will.

i didnt think so..stopped on a cut caused by a headbutt...Marg was whooping that boy, if you were actual a boxing fan and not a nuthugger you might have actualy seen the fight.
