Is Floyd making 8million for the Spinks fight?

I was a big Floyd Fan before but now as of late I have question Floyds heart and his desire to actually be the best out there.
If Floyd is not making atleast 8 million for this fight, I as a former Floyd fan will know that Floyd is indeed scared of Margarito giving him trouble and Margarito has a real good chance of indangering his fight with Oscar. The Spinks fight is not really note worth considering Spinks really lost the fight to Kama plus he already beat the guy who beat Spinks. Floyd needs to step up his competition and fight real top guys in every division he steps into and stop fighting these washed up guys or average guys and claiming hes fighting the best because its just Bull****. Maybe next year Floyd will fight some real competition again and bring faith back to the people who once thought he wanted to be the best by fighting the best.

I would guess no, but you can be sure he'll make 10 - 15 in a fight with Oscar early next year.

If he's not making at least 6 million, then he will always be remembered for ducking Margarito in 2006, which sucks.

good point, but the fact is that in sum he could make 8 million now and then the 10-15 later, instead of less now and the the 10-15 later. It's just not making money and not making sense. It leads to the su****ion that mayweather doesn't want to fight margarito because he took less money for another fight.

please don't get all offensive, just stating an opinion based on the facts, not attacking floyd or yourself.

The fact remains that Spinx has fought the better opposition in his carrer and has a much better resume than Maragrito.

Nopes definitely not. Pbf won't be making $8 MIL for this fight. And I have reason to believe Pbf made a big mistake.

The lousy fighter in Spinks can give PBF much more problem than Margarito could. Spinks doesn't have power but he has decent speed and is a very smart fighter. If Spinks could hang on and doesn't fade out in the later rounds there's a good chance of an upset here.

the fact remains that mayweather wasn't worried about resumes when he fought Brusseles or Ndou, he wasn't even worried when he fought judah because judah was fresh of off a loss to baldomir. First he was tossing around that if it makes money it makes sense crap, then the money is on the table, and now he's about his legacy. don't buy that, if he really cared about his legacy he would care that the media, and the fans have all turned on him, and if you don't care what the fans think then why is your legacy important? he just contradicted himself in this scenario and ended up opting for a guy who style wise will offer little resistance, instead of a true challenge that the fans and media want.

Who knows, they'll market this fight to the same urban audience that they did with Judah-Mayweather, that fight did like 350K to 375K buys on PPV.

Floyd's going to make millions off this fight.

Tony and Bob Arum? Still whining. Still no money. Still no resume.

                Sad.

There's no denying that Margarito is a riskier fight, so it stands to reason for him to take a fight at 154 and grab a strap there which is where he'll be fighting Oscar early next year.

There's still the opportunity for the fight to take place after that time, especially if Margarito forces the issue by obtaining a bigger career win than Kermit Cintron.

He will make around 3-4 million, I hope next year he will fight Tony and end all his hype.
