We all know that Floyd is not making 8mil but all this stuff is getting to be redundant. If your not on board with Floyd then your just not on board.

Floyd is fighting a better & more proven fighter in Spinks. He will soon also fight Oscar & Shane. Do you think Floyd wont fight Margarito after that?

Anyone who thinks Floyd is scared of Margarito is a joke. Floyd has his reasons for whatever they are but no one will convince me that Floyd would fight Oscar, Shane, & Spinks but is scared of Margarito. He may see Margarito as a threat but no way will I buy that.

Diego, you say Floyd will be remmeberd for this but thats not true. This stuff happeneds all the time and no one even cares wants you do something. Do you think anyone is going to kill Floyd for this if he beats Spinks & Oscar & maybe Shane? Do you think people will say that Floyd is really scared of him after that?

Floyd will also probally soon fight Winky. Floyd will only be criticized for this Margarito thing by people that already hate on him anyway. After he beats a proven elite guy in Spinks then everyone will give him his props and he will again be wanting to fight Oscar, Shane, and maybe Margarito.

Basicaly just because the Margarito fight doesnt happened now, doesnt mean it wont ever happened. For all we know, Floyd might not want the fight just because of some personal **** with Arum. This Margarito **** will last to about Nov. 4th and maybe the Febuaray fight but after that no one will care about it because he will have 2 big wins & on his way to fighting Oscar while Margarito will start getting ripped for fighting guys like Clottey & Cosme Rivera

Once again, if he beats Spinks and then Oscar and or Mosley, no one's going to remember anything about Margarito.

The only way Margarito goes down as a fighter that was avoided is by building a better resume. Something he hasn't done as of yet.

Too many people are screaming and crying in the last few months, and in the big picture, this can shake out many different ways.

Thats what they dont get. People will buy into **** now because Floyd is so hated but soon Floyd will still be ranked #1 with some more big time wins and they are going to ask, "what has Margarito done at all to deserve a fight with Floyd".

But again, this fight will happened. It may not be on Nov. 4th but as long as Margarito stays unbeaten, this fight will definatly happened in the near future and when it does then people will feel so dumb for ever questioning Floyd because he will end up getting way more then 8 for the Margarito fight after his name is bigger and he will kill Margarito. Then people will look at there resume's and feel dumb for ever thinking Margarito ever even had a chance

I agree with you DLT. If he does indeed beat Spinks and then Oscar or Mosley, Margarito won't even be looked at as an after opponent anymore unless of course he beats Baldomir or Hatton at 147. But until then, yes, people will say Floyd ducked Margarito.

Tony is overrated, all the hype came from the mouth of his promoter.

that's very true, but not by any merit of spinks', just because of the other two guys. My whole problem with floyd on this is that legacy just became a factor to him when Arum put the money on the table. I understand him wanting mosley and DLH, those are defining and money making fights, but legacy wise it wouldn't hurt him to fight margarito (unless he lost), for the same reason that he would follow up w/ mosley and dlh, and he would make more money
