that's my point, Tyson was easier to hit in that fight because of his kronk style.

    the narrative goes like this
-Fury was heavier, therefore harder to put down.
-Wilder was also heavier, in fact moreso than Tyson, wilder put on more weight, but didnt have the legs to carry the weight and therefore sit on his punches.
He probably rolled with them like he usually does, which is why he wasn't marked up like the previous fight. Also IIRC they both gained the same amount of weight from the first to second fights. if Wilder didn't train legs at all during that time, he's an idiot.

      No.

The only thing that changed was Fury made it a dog fight.

He forced Wilder into a fight that he never had before.

It showed and Wilder got beat one sided. If not for the bleeding ear, it would have just been a 12 round beat down.

that's partially true, but you still cant develop a chin like that suddenly with 14lbs or whatever. if he was being put down in the first fight the way he did, if he was hurt by Otto Wallin....kronk or no kronk, a 'normal' Wilder would have knocked him down at the very least. He landed clean several times and Fury walked right through them.

Fury wiped the ring with that man. Could have been stopped earlier but I wanted the violence to continue.

Yup. Reminded me of Mosley pushing back Margarito. No answer for it.

I find this one hard to believe. In the first fight, Wilder put him down twice, in the 12th in almost devastating fashion. Did 14lbs+ magically give TF a chin to the point where Wilder landed HEAVY blows and TF wasnt even bothered? That isnt possible. Even if TF had stronger legs, the contrast between the 2 fights was too much.

what is far more likely is that Wilder's legs WERE weak (forget the costume trolling) for whatever reasons. Maybe even he doesnt know what it really was? Maybe it was just one of those nights?

Keep in mind that there are some chavs who think Tyson Fury put on 14lbs of muscle and that was the big difference maker. That is not possible so soon. more likely a bit of muscle, more water/glycogen and fat..and that doesnt make a huge difference in defence.

The other is that TF changed his style and 'put it on Wilder' but again that doesnt explain how TF magically developed a chin. In fact this change in TF's style, made it easier for Wilder to land clean...and he did, so it goes back to Tyson magically developing a chin...

it's more than likely Wilder had an offnight and didn't have the power he would normally have. in that case, IF he shows up in the rematch back to his usual self, he could well knock Tyson out cold.

The difference is that Fury can fight, Wilder can't.

If you fight the one way Wilder wants then he's a great chance.

I honestly wouldn't know what way to beat Fury. I suspect it'll need someone who can box on the outside with him but land heavier blows and still land going backwards. For all the hype, Fury's still not a big hitter, not a 'great mover'. He's a good mover for a man of his size.

I don't know if that guy exists, but it's not Wilder by a long chalk.

As for Fury's chin. I don't know if I'm so confident in it. Wilder never really tested it in the second fight. Landed a couple of good shots in the first and put him on his trunks. The Undertaker stuff is more hype than reality.

The closest contender is Joshua. Easily. Beat Joshua and the last remaining question marks go away.

Never saw Wilder look worse. I don't know what his idea was coming in so heavy (heaviest of his career) but whatever the idea was, it was not a good one. Against Fury, Wilder needed to move and keep moving but he didn't or couldn't.

I think the Kronk Gym mentality changed him a little.
