I come from that community. He went because he wouldve got **** if he hadn't. Wheres the racism he's talking about? I grew up in Peckham, you didn't have any white people here say **** to a black man coz they'd get killed. But I got plenty of **** for dating a white girl. Yes, there people who are racist. But it's nothing like parts of the US. Our biggest problem is knife crime, but not only do celebrities like him say nothing, they push the artists who push the lifestyle.

I've had more comments about dating white girls from black people than white, more references to dirty pork than anything else. Joshua was talking about white business, boycotting them as a blanket reaction to the racism of some. Who are the racists who's shops hes saying to not shop at. He's just part of the in crowd, who want to ferment more division, because they're doing quite well out of it. They're all silent on all the knife crime where I live, fully support the sort of artists that push gangster rap and drill at kids, encouraging them to throw their lives down the toilet. Did the racist UK public reject AJ for the colour of hes skin. No, it was he brothers across the pond who trashed him for losing to Ruiz. There was some hate on display there. I always support him, but he was talking about white business and shops, stop lying to yourself.
      Much respect... Very well put.

The black race has been oppressed for WAY, WAY too long. All they want is to be treated like everyone else. And if you don't like that, like he said, GO F*** YOURSELF!
Well spoke sir well spoke. We really do have to reign in the racists in our group. Racism is the black man’s burden but it sure as hell is our problem and only we can fix it

If you actually grew up anywhere in Southeast London and you don't know how it used to be, from Surrey Quays, Bermondsey, Eltham, Thamesmead - all the way to Kent-London axis - then you're either a liar or a kid not older than 15. There's a reason why Millwall fans have a reputation and BNP/NF in London are concentrated in those places.

Grange_27 come check this doughnut. LMAO.

Are you from London? - we're the most progressive in the UK.

I don't think most Brits know that the monkey chants at football games started in the UK before being exported to other parts of Europe. LMAO. Millwall and Chelsea fans used to be the most notorious fans for monkey chants in London. LMAO.

                  Great stuff, matey.

We can disagree on boxers and support different boxers but still go have pints together and banter. That's the British passion for sports!

Yeah I know about the BNP, I know about the NF. I knew Bermondsey, Elephant and all them places. I grew up on the North Peckham. Then I moved to the Gloucester Grove Estate then the Alysbury. You tell me if you could make racist comments to black people in Peckham you ****ing mug, you'd would and still would get your throat cut. So what you saying? And I dunno what the **** you see in my post that you see a problem with either. Telling me where I did and didn't ****ing grow up.

Let's get one thing straight, he's no Ali who didn't need to muffle his voice by reading a script from a piece of paper, badly. Most of what Ali said came direct from the heart and resonated with your heart as instinctively you knew it was right.

Compare this to Joshua saying 'we should hit them where it hurts, stop giving your money to white people's businesses.' This is wrong on so many levels.

Firstly, that comment's the very definition of racism. Imagine the flipside and subsequent uproar of what he's just said? Pro-actively creating that type of division is exactly what we're trying to extinguish.

Secondly the UK has been extremely kind to Joshua. From the judge who initially showed him leniency and all his coaches past and present, the Olympic team, to his promotional deals and his fanbase who've made him a household name and a millionaire many times over.

But what a slap in the face to those white fans. I'm a white business owner, living in the UK who has bought all AJ's fights and it's a fact that when it comes to boxing at least 80% of my favourite fighters are black both past and present.

For every Ricky Hatton and Prince Naz (remember I'm English) there's a Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jnr, Floyd Mayweather, Sugar Ray Leanord, Thomas Hearns, Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn.

That's just a tiny snippet of fighters who I've loved watching over the years and I could easily go on and on, it'll be the same split and probably the same for most real UK boxing fans.

When Joshua first broke on to the scene I thought he was a breath of fresh air. Exactly what the heavyweight division needed. Haye was always out injured (and you suspected that he never really loved the game) and Fury was going through the fight of his life just trying to get through each day alive.

Despite Joshua getting increasingly 'all guru' in his interviews I still like the lad and I hope it was just a case of him being badly advised. Because if white people decided to hit him where it hurts and no longer pay for PPV then he'll only have himself to blame.

Sorry for the rant but all the BS can get a bit much. I mean, what was he thinking?
