Plus even if that were true , do you think some Millwall fans could go and start blatant racist attacks on black people in Peckham in the 90’s without people from Camberwell, Lewisham or even Brixton and Stockwell wouldn’t get involved? Even if they have rivalries from different estates or whatever, they wouldn’t have sat back and watched that happen.Comment

The park by the school?I'm 38.I lived opposite the park facing it, but i wasn't born there, i was born on the North Peckham and spent my childhood on the Gloucester Grove which is on the other side facing burgess, the lake endI had family in Davey Street and Endmond Street. Why the **** should I Google anything to impress you? You played football around there and I lived there. You aint gonna get no one to back you saying about black people getting terrorised where I grew up. By the way, you've got the late 90s mixed up with the 80s.By the late 90s there wasn't anything racial here, the man attacked down the blue by people I know was Turkish but that weren't coz he was Turkish as well all know. There was lots of fights around the warrior pub but the only one I know of that fits your bill was Jamie Robe and that was nothing to do with race. There was plenty of black people on the Aylesbury and the Heygate, i had lots of friends around there. You read the South London press I know these people thats the difference.
You're 38 which means you're rapper Giggs' age. And he was born on Gloucester Grove Estate but grew up in North Peckham. So how come he has talked about the racism he faced growing up there several times in interviews and how things used to be - but somehow your experience is different?
And since you like gangs - what are the names of the gangs from Gloucester Grove Estate and North Peckham before it became PMS and subsequently Peckham boys under one umbrella?
No, you claimed you lived there. Saying there were plenty of black people there doesn't mean the black people weren't the minority back then.Comment

Late 90s, youre a troll. You don't know nothing about the area. Name me some of them incidents round Surrey Quays too, you know what the pub next to the Osprey was called back then? You know downtown. Let's hear about the incidents.Comment

So you’re from Colchester and listened to some rap from south east London and learn a bit about the gangs names
you are basically the Ali G of ColchesterComment

I'm not black and I'm covered from racial abuse. But I can spot a liar when I see one.Comment

I agree. AJ felt pressure coming from his community to take a stand against brutality, injustice and inequality against his own people. Which is why he had to show that he was still down with the struggle and solidarity of the bruthas.I come from that community. He went because he wouldve got **** if he hadn't. Wheres the racism he's talking about? I grew up in Peckham, you didn't have any white people here say **** to a black man coz they'd get killed. But I got plenty of **** for dating a white girl. Yes, there people who are racist. But it's nothing like parts of the US. Our biggest problem is knife crime, but not only do celebrities like him say nothing, they push the artists who push the lifestyle.Comment

When I lived there they were the Gloucester Grove Boys. I didn't know Giggs. I moved alot, but tbh everyone and their dog has heard of Giggs and the Peckham boys. There were lots of Gangs around. Let's talk about stuff that not everyone knows. Where was DFA based. I know, the Old Kent road, but where? This is local knowledge. You don't seem to understand, ive had racial abuse, but no white person abused a black person in Peckham, i lived their and you'd have got a beating at least. You was talking to me about Surrey Quays, so you'd know Peter Hills and stave Hill and all that. Tell me what happened round there. Tell me even in the late 90s, when you think black people started running Peckham, what used to happen on Halloween? BTW, i dont like gangs, never was in one. Boxed at the Lynn AC as a child, trained with a guy called Roy Beamon. Boxed years later down the Henry Cooper, what famous boxer trained people there? Ill give you a clue, he lived on the Rockingham. The park by the school?
