We have known that from day one. His racist supporters have hated Deontay Wilder for one reason....they have militantly supported Eddie Hearn for one reason....they hate al haymon and PBC for one reason....now they hate joshua for that very same reason.Comment

Different times...Ali was a racist who met with the KKK clan and believed the races should be kept apart and as for some of the racist things he did and said about his fellow black boxers, if a white man had said those gorilla comments etc.
I mean Ali was a great boxer but seriously you picked the wrong role model on that one ...
Ali had his faults no doubt, the degradation of Frazier was disgraceful but what he did and stood for during the Vietnam conflict must be commended.Comment

Yeah I'm well aware of his shortfalls in the build up to the Frazier trilogy, that was disgusting. I was referring more to how he talked and did reference 'most' and not all of what he sai. He did inject some humour from time to time but you're right he definitely crossed the line with Fazier.Ali was a racist who met with the KKK clan and believed the races should be kept apart and as for some of the racist things he did and said about his fellow black boxers, if a white man had said those gorilla comments etc.

I might just be acting like a bear with a sore arse, difficult times. If he specifically mentioned boycotting racist stores than I'm man enough to wholeheartedly apologise and I'll make a mental note to double check in future - thank you.LMAO. You're smarter than this unnecessary rant.
If you had taken time to listen to the whole speech and not jump off a cliff based on the tiny bit a section of the population twisted and blew out of proportion - you'd understand the context in which he said it.
Granted, he should've given more explanation and emphatically pointed out that he was only saying "boycott racist stores and support black businesses" if they don't change due how he's heavily scrutinised by a section of the population. Unless you're a closet racist - I honestly don't know why you'll have a problem with it.
I don't have a problem with his speech and it's understandable why he would say that to hurt those who're unrepentant racists. ***s mostly buy ***ish, go to ***ish schools, and have their own ***ish community. And no one has a problem with it. He didn't even call for that type of segregation. People need to calm their ti.ts with their insecurities and stop disturbing the guy.
Regardless, he has made his money and would make a lot more against Fury. So he has nothing to worry about. If people would stop buying his PPV, he needs to keep fighting in the middle east, retire early and ride off into the sunset. The guy has been targeted unfairly too many times and it's sickening.
As for being a closet racist, ha no mate, honestly the colour of folks skin is about as important to me as the colour of their hair.Comment

I debated even answering this question due to it being so simple.....but I’ll bite.
One could easily and rightfully recall white American fans of Joe Louis, particularly when Joe fought Max Schmeleng in the rematch in which “American democracy” fought “Aryan superiority” of which Louis was made the champion, complete with an audience with President Roosevelt. At the same time, Jim Crowe was the law of the land and even in NYC, Louis would not been allowed to frequent the same hotels and night clubs that the majority was....a reality found out by Jesse Owens who was not allowed through the front door of a hotel in which a celebration of his gold medal efforts at the Berlin Olympics was taking place.
That would be my figurative response to your “if they was a fan...” query....Comment

Nah, i don't really have a problem with him speaking out about an issue if he believes in it. I like my boxers to be human, not robots.
I think what he's said has been taken slightly out of context. I get what he's trying to say.
I try and stay out of all this race s*** tbh.Comment
