that doesnt sound like ward thought it was a tune up at all. ward himself needed more tune ups to fight ggg! ward wanted ggg to fight him instead of the canelo cotto winner! absurd. this is what i mean when people just dont do research

ward did propose each guy take one tune up....that was always known....he was afforded golovkin the luxury of testing 168 first against a 168 lb fighter

golovkin fans have argued "you expect golovkin to move up and face the top 168 guy the first time out? thats not really fair is it"? and i agree....which is why ward proposed golovkin get a chance to get his feet wet at 168 first....and ward had been out of the ring for awhile and hadnt faced any real good comp in awhile so he too likely wanted another fight

the way people twist things is unbelievable. have some backbone. at first it was ggg ducked ward to fight lemiuex. now its ward just wanted ggg to be ready at 168 lmao. sorry ggg was never going to delay the canelo fight for ward. you can try to twist the facts any way you like but that offer was never going to be accepted. both parties knew that. it was for publicity only. you wanted to label ggg a ducker so you ran with it. im just here to expose your cloudy thinking and lack of research/critical thinking. when people say floyd ducked margarito its because there is a mountain of evidence. when people say ggg ducked ward its based on this nonsense offer that is easily ripped apart...if you want to use your brain. if you just want ggg to be a ducker then yeah dont look into it, dont look at context, dont do anything but read the headline

And the (delaying the Canelo fight thing is pure fabrication especially considering ggg was all over saying he wanted all the best champions between 154-168,& he was claiming he couldn't get non bums to fight,& you're bs argument is even more rediculous considering he dragged up a ww to 160 ffs,& didn't have any agreement to fight anyone let alone Canelo,to top it off it further demonstrated ggg avoiding bigger elite fighters like the plague,he doesn't like being the shorter guy jor the smaller guy unless its vs a bum,he wanted nothing but who he perceived as much smaller disadvantaged opponents who he felt he could bully by dragging them up to 160 & have a height reach advantage over. Ggg only wanted Canelo because he felt he was getting him still green for mw & with every disadvantage as well as knowing he would never get mega rich without beating him or Ward.(ggg ALWAYS chose the fighter who most embodied these criteria & avoided those who didn't,which is why he dragged Jacobs out a yr over a few hundred k & was the Bbb side to Brook & offered Rosado a cw but not Cotto/Canelo,& wanted Fmj at 154 but Ward at a cw then not at all.)

Him offering ggg a tune-up because he was making excuses about being a lil mw,does not equate to Ward DEMANDING a multiple fight deal like Daggum erroneously claims,Ward considered ggg easy work tune up & offered to fight him next but ggg refused.

ward approached golovkin in the last 1/4 of 2015 about fighting in 2016

these guys claim that golovkin was waiting on the canelo/cotto winner....yet still somehow want to say ward killed the fight when we all know golovkin was waiting on canelo

golovkin didnt get the fight till september 2017 and his 2016 slate suggests he was waiting and looking to take the least risk possible while waiting for canelo by fighting brook and wade......when i point out that canelo fight didnt happen for almost 2 years after ward contacted golovkin they say "well he was waiting on canelo...how was golovkin supposed to know it would take canelo that long to grow some balls".....i simply say "he had already been getting the run around from cotto/canelo so why would he hinge everything on canelo knowing he was already waiting longer than he should have"......

golovkin was never gonna fight ward....ever....yet these guys still insist somehow ward wasnt genuine and was trying to fool everyone even though he went up and fought someone, who at the time, was equally as dangerous...if not more dangerous.......golovkin is barely scraping by guys in the same division he always been in or losing to them
