And let's say Dillian Whyte end up becoming a champion and Ruiz becomes a champion again. That should elevate him to top 5 all time, no?

I'm just going by the frenzy surrounding Fury now and make sure you keep the same energy.
No one in this hw era is an ATG or at least shouldn’t be

I think young upcoming boxers, particularly Dubois, can spoil the party for the existing top-rated boxers. Beating Fury will be a great boost to Joshua, no doubt about it. IMO, to be considered ATG, you need to beat the best in your era.

That means any of the top 3 will have to beat the other two and, as per my opinion by the time that happens, Dubois will be up there. So, beat the other top 3 and become ATG.

He'd have to beat Fury and then beat Wilder.

He has to beat the top ranked. He'll feel all uppity if he did beat Fury but anything other than knocking Fury complete tf out. He'll have to beat Fury probably twice and beat Wilder, who can easily clear the entire division bar Fury and possibly AJ.

So that's what he'll have to do.

That'll make him a heavyweight worth remembering. Where as an ATG? I don't know. Top 50, top 100. I don't know but if he beats BOTH of them. He has a solid legacy. Specially if he sparks them tf out or completely dominates them. None of that, "boxing" that he did with Ruiz. It's not the same if he did that to Fury or Wilder.

Because we would know for sure that it was AJ on a bicycle if he jabbed and circled all night.

Joshua has a low key case for the best heavyweight since Lennox if he beat Fury. Beating Wlad and Fury, on top of being a unified champ, rivals Wlad's longevity in his reign. He wouldn't be greater than Wlad, but there would be a serious discussion about whether Joshua is better than Wlad was.

This would be true of Fury as well, I think.

Stop spamming Wilder on the thread. He’s a bum and irrelevant in the scheme of things.

I'd say Fury would need to beat at least two or three actual elite fighters in their prime, he hasn't beaten one, for ATG status or consistently beat somewhat decent string of opponents like Mayweather has.
Klitschko was probably over the hill. Not Wilder. Fury was just better. And you’re talking to a guy who was pulling for Wilder.

He clears the division minus Fury and possibly Joshua.

He is in the discussion whether you like him or not.

                    It's just reality.

                      Not at all.

Fury beat him. Wilder can literally beat everyone else in the division and possibly AJ.

So yes, AJ undoubtedly has to fight Wilder as well.
