And let's say Dillian Whyte end up becoming a champion and Ruiz becomes a champion again. That should elevate him to top 5 all time, no?

I'm just going by the frenzy surrounding Fury now and make sure you keep the same energy.

For me, AJ is closer to an ATG than fury. People get over hyped in the short term but if in ten years you look back and Fury has wins against klitschko, wilder and chisora nobody is going to be compare to any of the best. Wilder and chisora haven’t beaten anyone else of note so your down to a single win.

AJ is closer because he has fought and beaten so many more; Povetkin, klitschko, Whyte, Ruiz rematch, Takam, etc.

It's thin due to his time out of the ring and also David Haye pulling out twice and wasting a year of his career. He's lost about 3 prime years and needed tune-ups and a run of camps to get back to his best.

I think you are wrong on this one and Fury will go down as an ATG if he beats Joshua, Wilder and Whyte. No other boxer will ever be like Fury, 6'9 and good at everything. I think most people will put up up against the other ATG's just due to his size.

The same over the hill Kiltschko and Wilder who hasn't been shown to be anywhere near the elite level when he doesn't get his magical ko? For all we know Dilian Whyte could have racked up those same two wins easily. I'd say Fury would need to beat at least two or three actual elite fighters in their prime, he hasn't beaten one, for ATG status or consistently beat somewhat decent string of opponents like Mayweather has.
