Would AJ become an ATG if he beats Fury?

The most sensible post in this threadAll time great is just an opinion. For instance some think Mayweather is the best ever and others think he doesn't belong in the top 50 greatest. I don't think a win over Fury turns AJ into an all time great. All time great should be based on a career and not one big win. I don't think Fury is an all time great.Comment

Stfu you biased ignorant abused ****.
You have fighters like Joshua and fury as ATG are you ****ing kidding me?
Mike was the youngest hw champ of all time that isn’t easy and he was a cash cow even though his fights rarely went past 1 round.
If it was so easy why didn’t any of your UK bums do it? Closest thing you have is vlad and he would have gotten murdere by a prime Tyson who you dismiss so easily. Lennox is an ATG but he is a jamican Canadian lmfao.
Oh you silly boyComment

This post alone shows not only your ignorance but your utter biased. I am in no way a wilder fan at all but that one punch can ko the greatest chin. You CNET deny his power: let’s hope he gets schooled by fury again and he gives others a shot then we can see where he really stands
Come on dude don’t be so close minded
Open your eyes
Broaden your horizons
There is a lot more than just the UK simpletonComment

Who cares about his skill or hype?
The fact of the matter is, he was running through the division minus Fury, who was and is the lineal champ.
Your wild conjecture about who would knock Wilder clean out is irrelevant.
I'm not basing my words on emotions. You clearly are though. Fact is, there were about 2 people with HW straps before Fury beat Wilder and Ruiz stunning the world. Those were AJ and Wilder. Fury was lineal. Those are the only three worth talking about when it comes to Heavyweights truthfully.
IF Joshua were to beat Fury. He'd have to trash him otherwise he has to fight him twice.
If beats Fury over 2 matches. Then he has to fight Wilder because that's the only other heavyweight worth talking about.
That's just reality when there isn't any emotional charged biases involved.Comment

I only bring up Mayweather because he's the only ATG i know who never beat an elite fighter in their prime at a comfortable weight. However, he still gets ATG status for his long consistency in beating near elite fighters. I'm just saying for Fury to become ATG, he'll either have to beat 2 or 3 elite fighters in their prime, one can be AJ, or have a long record of beating near elite fighters. This is heavyweight debate, what has some mayweather to do here?
Tyson Fury beat Klitschko, who didn`t lose a round in 10 years before that. And he beat Wilder, who was seen as some undefeated killer?
And now you tell me Fury has to beat some average guys to prove something?
Fury has only 1 challenge left. Joshua.
As far as Klitschko, I'm not saying it's not a good win...it's just not enough to say he doesn't still have a lot more to do to qualify as ATG. No matter how good Klitschko's record was, the body is physically past it's prime at the age he fought Fury and that will always put an asterisk on Fury's win.
And for the record, Wilder on his best day is a C+ fighter with power. The only near elite fighter he ever fought was Ortiz and he nearly lost every round in both fights outside of the ko's. Not only that, he was almost ko'ed in the first fight and damn near didn't land a single punch in the 2nd before the ko. Such one dimensionalism would never go far at the elite level as we saw. As soon as his ko strategy is nullified, he's practically the level of a no name tune up for someone coming off a loss. That's why I don't give Fury much credit for beating him. Wilder is basically a suped up Daniel Boone with promoter politics behind him.Comment
