Because the WBC was protecting that great fraud hope Wilder. Politics as usual from Haymon protecting his great Heavyweight hope . Coward culture in boxing. Weakness.
Yup...Wilder and all his WBC “voluntary” defenses. Pbc/WBC one in the same - protected A.Berto the same way for years and doing the same for Stank Davis!!!
There's only mention of title shots in my post and by definition Stiverne has had 2 (as referenced).
Don't take my word for it, have a look. I'm not lying to you mate.
You said it in context to him not being more deserving than Whyte when Stiverne got that title shot he was supposed to face Vitali Klitschko but he got injured and pulled out of the fight then ended up retiring that's the only reason he fought Arreola again for a vacant title which he won so I don't see how it matters that he got one more opportunity against the guy who took his title. I'll admit that rematch was bad Stiverne was way out of shape Don King has really ruined a lot of fighters careers.
I agree Whyte should get a title shot but he turned one down with AJ so why is he complaining he knew Fury-Wilder was going to happen again and that Fury wanted interim fights so it wasn't happening immediately he knew he was going to have to wait.
Ortiz looked like a garbage against Hammer and Scott, but still got two title shots, winin none elimination fight.
Enough with double standards, people. You know pretty well why Wilder never fought Whyte. Because Whyte would beat his ass pretty bad.
I was honestly just talking about Whyte. I'm not sure where you got Wilder out of any of that. Everyone just makes assumptions about people on this forum lol. I don't mean to pick on just you but wow.
And yeah you're right about Ortiz. Wilder got quite a bit of heat for that choice at the time. I still don't feel sorry for Whyte in any way.

I wrote it in the context of a source of frustration for Whyte.
I can imagine how Molina, Breazeale and Stiverne all having 2 shots at a World title doing that to the most patient of contenders and Whyte's face hardly screams 'accommodating.'
You pulled me up as you wrote Stiverne had only had 1 shot against Wilder and that most posters on this forum (me included) suffer from a short, 2 year memory. Ironically I reminded you of Stiverne's first shot against Arreola back in 2014 thus validating my initial post - the end.
Anything else is off topic from your original beef with my post.

when AJ fought Molina as a voluntary you weren’t saying nothing. But it’s a travesty that wilder fought ortiz as a voluntary? U need to look in the mirror because that’s a double standard.
Whyte is a bum if he thought he could beat wilder he would’ve fought him already
