From what I can remember I had Maidana winning 3 or 4 of the first 6 rounds but he literally lost every single round after that. Personally I can’t see how anyone could not have Floyd winning although Maidana should be proud of how well he did in both fights. I thought he did better than Oscar De La Fishnets and Manny Pacquiao who I gave 3 rounds to. Maidana and Castillo were his toughest fights. Although he did fight Castillo injured the first time and almost completely dominated him in the rematch.

Is there another boxer in history who didn't give biggest rivals rematches?

Prime Pac would have better chance against floyd but got jmm used goods.

That same “used goods” JMM got beat by Floyd like a pińata a year before he destroyed a “prime” PAC.
Are you talking about that Marquez?

Maidana is Floyd’s toughest opponent for sure

He won 4 clear rounds off a healthy Floyd with no injury.

Then took 3 rounds in the rematch

            Maidana > Oscar > manny

Floyd schooled and embarrassed Pac and Canelo.

              Why didn't Pac fight Canelo?

Floyd won 7 clear rounds, Chino won 4 clear rounds

I had one round that could’ve gone either way

But I can’t make a case for Maidana winning or a draw because the 7 rounds that Floyd won were clear rounds, in my opinion.

The fight was like 9-3. It was decisive. Cotto and Oscar both won more rounds than Maidana.

Was a very entertaining fight but they got the decision right. 7-5 or 8-4 for Floyd who made the necessary adjustments & basically swept the 2nd half of the fight. The first Castillo fight was the one where he really got the benefit of the doubt & got away with one... Although I'm sure Ellerbe would find a way to cast it as a noncompetitive fight where Floyd took him to school.

Maidana didn’t do enough to win but it was close. Everyone I watched with in the room was a Mayweather fan and we were all biting our nails. It was definitely a close one. They should have no shame in giving credit where credit is due.

In the end though, I made a ton of posts saying Maidana is going to be a physically tough fight for Floyd, I predicted that Maidana would end up being one of Floyd’s toughest fights. I specifically predicted that Maidana will end up being tougher for Floyd than whatever Pacquiao was gonna do. Due to Floyd’s age and size disadvantage, that was Maidana’s chance to get the biggest win of the decade. Credit to Floyd for biting down and coming out with a win in a physically grueling fight.
