Which nation has the most world champions?

American dominance in question again, let go to the tale of the tape:

    America has 14

    Mexico has 8

    Uk has 6

    Philippines has 4

    Japan has 4

    Russia has 2

    Ukraine has 2

    France has 2

    Nicaragua has 2

    Thailand has 2

    Kazakhstan has 1

    Uzbekistan has 1

    South Africa has 1

    Dominican Republic has 1

    Brazil has 1

    Cuba has 1

    Puerto Rico has 1

********ic Republic of the Congo has 1

Calling into question American dominance when the number 2 and 3 can be combined to match, not beat, America, is silly. UK + Mexico = USA

It's also silly it always comes from Europeans who have so few champions you can combine the entire EU and still come up short. Europe needs Central Asia to match America and not use a new world republic to do it. UK + France + Russia + Uzbek + Kazahk = America and that's only if you don't count Puerto Rico as American.

Asia, if you include all of Asia and do not separate central from eastern asia, is the only place on earth that can challenge America, alone, with a combined effort. From Ukraine to Japan is a big ass region to combine and that alone ought to tell you who the single most dominant nation in boxing is.

America + Mexico would be far less area covered and far less population, but still far more champions than Ukraine to Japan and everyone in between.

America > Europe , get over it

New World > Old World , get over it

Y'all mother ****er ought to be a bit closer before running yer ****suckers. Hell, number two ought to be close to number one before who dominates the sport is even questionable.

Less dominant than before doesn't mean you ***** ass ain't being dominated right ****ing now.

Pointless argument anyways, it's an individual sport. Human excellence at anything ain't defined or limited by political boundaries.

I would have guessed the USA would win. They have a large population of big strong people who like to fight. Mexico and the UK and Japan all do well considering their much smaller population. As another poster said it is an individual sport not a team sport. As an American boxing fan I have favorite fighters from all parts of the world. If one of my favorites from another country fights an american boxer I want him to beat the American. Some of my favorites are Americans of course. It makes no difference to me.

All of them put together aren't worth a quarter of what Josh, Fury and Whyte are worth.

What's the point of being a prize fighter but being relatively as broke as a church rat, despite the huge population in your country? LMAOOO

Clearly nobody is dominating the sport unless you feel 14/42 is domination.

As Koba said... it’s an individual sport- I never get involved in any of the national or racial stuff.
