Mayweather-Mosley is an acceptable fight and I'd love to see it. ODLH is a joke of an opponent for Mayweather to prey on. The guy is too old and doesn't even want to fight anymore.

Bozo, you should be ashamed of yourself for claiming that a win over Oscar is a career defining victory for Mayweather. If you actually believe this is a big fight for Floyd in any sense other than financially, then you have nothing to be ashamed of, you're just an idiot.
You cant be serious my friend, ODLH is a great fighter 28,32 or 34 a fighter is a fighter and will always go into the ring wanting to win, ODLH is no different. His coming off a stellar performance against Mayorga and has chossen to fight in 2007 for what reason, because of injuries? LOL i think not, while he may have suffered some damage throughout his career and in the Mayorga fight i assure you if the fight with Pretty Boy does occur, you will see Oscar in the best shape of his life! This is/and will be a MEGA fight grossing over 50 mil + and probley the most PPV sales we have seen in somtime, this would not only be a career defing figth for both but for the ressurection of are great sport!

Mayweather is about money and is going after it NOW, and the fights we all think he should be takeing LATER, i have no problem with it but some people may! All i know is Mayweather has about 4-8 strong years left in him and by fighting Spinks,Blad and/or ODLH next wont effect anything we see from him in late 2007, 2008,2009..... Its about patients my friend, and only time will tell if PBF is ducking Maragrito.

AND YEAH WHY IS MARGARITO FIGHTING BUMS LIKE RIVERA, and NOT GOING AFTER OTHER TOP 10 guys?

Just another useless nay saying thread.
Excactly, it takes two to make a fight, Baldomir fight couldn't be made for whatever reason, Margarito hasn't earned it.

No Margarito will NEVER be a bigger name historically than DLH. But by that same token Ike Quartey, Fernando Vargas, and Ricardo Mayorga will never be considered better than Julio Cesar Chavez or Pernell Whitaker. Nonetheless, a boxing purist like myself or you would know that DLH's wins against Quartey, Vargas, and Mayorga are more significant to his legacy as a great fighter because he beat these guys at or close to their peaks while clearly JCC and Whitaker were past their primes (good wins but not great wins). That is all he is saying. Right now Margarito is at his prime while Mosley and DLH or not. That is all.

I mean I give DLH a chance because its at 154 and he has power, but I agree that he is clearly over the hill. I definitely wouldn't be surprised if PBF dominates and I definitely won't consider that a career defining win. I will consider it just like I consider DLH beating Whitaker and JCC. If Floyd really wants legacy he should beat Hatton, Cotto, Margarito, and Wright. Then maybe we can talk about him being in the conversation about the top 25 p4p fighters all-time like he claims.

Gone are the days of Mayweather taking on dangerous opponents like Corrales and Castillo. Gone are the days when he seemed hellbent on proving himself as a great fighter. Now he'd rather play patty cake for a few million bucks than defend his reputation as the best fighter in the world (and make a fortune doing it).

Add Mayweather's name to the list of potentially great fighters who lost it once they got a taste of riches and the high life. From this point on it's minimum risk, maximum profit. Just watch this guy make a few more easy defenses and retire, all the while comparing himself to Robinson, Leonard, Greb etc. etc. while the real boxing fans hang their heads and sigh.

                      yup....or so it appears.
