He is shooting himself in the foot. Just hope no one turns around in the future and blame Canelo for this. This is all on GGG, there is nothing Canelo can do. If GGG decided he would rather take this route then if I was Canelo I would fight someone else and just wait, better for Canelo.

I'm sure Golovkin, in his deluded mind, thinks he dictates to Canelo by preferring to snack on his usual bum diet. Thank God this fight won't happen.

This is one of the most cringeworthy, forced rivalries I've ever seen. No chemistry to their fights.

At this point, I’m resigned to the fact Andrade is just never gonna fight anyone. I was really high on him several years ago and think he’s very talented but he still hasn’t progressed past that Vanes win which was like 6/7 years ago.

If Canelo and GGG are tied up. I’d love to see him fight Derevyanchenko.

Just one of 'em things... dudes with smaller promoters always gonna have to have something special, some wow factor or they ain't gonna get the shots. Dudes like GGG and Kovalev were able to break through cos they brought the KOs and HBO could have 'em on the cheap, but Andrade falls into that same high risk low reward category but without the casual appeal -the thrill factor that would allow a distributor to make money offa him. Goddamn shame... the way this sport works will never stop pissing me off, the system of privilige which throws all the opportunity and money at a few guys and makes superstars of 'em whilst guys who could be just as, or nearly as good are left grubbing for the scraps and can't get the breaks at all...

Ah, well, pet peeve... forgive me.

Let's hope Eddie's at least motivated to get some return on his investment with Boo Boo.

To be fair that could be overthinking it... if you have signed a deal to fight a dude it's hardly deplorable behaviour to follow through on your word, but Golovkin undoubtedly could have got out of this one with little blame attaching and it was a relatively pointless fight to start off with.

That said I've little to no interest in the trilogy either, only real fight I'm interested in for GGG is Andrade or maybe Jermall and I ain't holding my breath for either.
