Can someone explain to me why it’s such a big deal for GGG to honor the Szeremeta commitment before fighting Canelo?

its strictly a confidence issue...he needs an easy win to make himself feel good/great before taking on a real guy....his last fight didnt leave a good taste in his mouth and to go from that one to canelo wont feel right to him...he wants to blast someone out and dominate to feel good

after fighting at 175 going back to 160 might hurt your body, you should know this...
ggg him self seems to be hurting his body lately and canelo already said he plans to stay at 168, ggg was a one fight thing for 160, but shouldnt be if ggg pushes the date back...
canelo already said his plan is to stay at 168 for a while, why wait another year only cuz a meaningless fight ??

What a cherrypicker. IBF hasn't even ordered the fight and GGG wants to go ahead and fight this guy because DAZN is dumb enough to pay millions of dollars for this fight. Plus he knows his fans will buy the whole mandatory excuse despite the fact it was never ordered
