That has nothing to do with Floyd missing the weight, though.

And Marquez fought Pacquiao in that same division in two fights and had no trouble with speed at all.

    Makes you think.
That was after Marquez got used to a higher weight. Is your IQ this low? When you jump 2 weight divisions you get bloated. You're bigger but lose alot of your speed. Once you're acclimated it's different. And Floyd missing weight for example can give him advantages like not having to dehydrate himself much to make weight. Which means he can be sharper in the ring itself. It has a big impact. Any boxing fan knows this. Not having to make a certain weight is a significant advantage. And that's essentially what Floyd did by missing weight. If you still can't see it I feel sorry for you.

So adding 4-6lb over years makes him bloated.

Ive posted pics many times showing fight night weights where JMM is 144 148 150 over a period of 10 yrs, so Im saying to you he jumped 2 divisions on paper only and 4-6 lb in real weight.

When Juan Manuel Marquez moved up to the welterweight division in 2009 to challenge Floyd Mayweather Jr., he claims that he didn't train properly and put on the "wrong kind of weight" and it made him slow, sluggish and the power wasn't there. He weighed in at 142-pounds, but his body and power wasn't as impressive as it appeared for his last two stints at 147.

Prior to last year's third meeting with Manny Pacquiao, Marquez started working with conditioning coach Angel "Memo" Heredia. Marquez, also coming in at 142 for that match, looked stronger and handled the weight a lot better. For the fourth meeting with Pacquiao, on December 8th, he looked to be in even better shape with a ripped and muscular 143-pound body. He used that power to knock Pacquiao down in the third and scored a sensational one-punch knockout in the sixth round.

With Memo by his side, he says the Mayweather fight would have been very different.

"Things would have been very different. I wasn't doing the right things [in training]. [Memo] has helped me a lot and I'm doing a lot of different things that I was never doing before. We worked very, very hard. I think so, yes, things would have been very different," Marquez said.

Look usually when you step up weight you usually need warm up fights in that weight class to get used to fighting bigger guys. Look at Nell before he fought ggg for example.
Are you being clueless on purpose I know your cleverer than this.
Boasting floyd best a 2 division smaller guy better than anyone? Are the standards for floyd so low? Has anyone got a win over thurman like pac? Those are stats worth gloating about!

Did you just read 4 to 6lb swing over many years .

They are his real numbers, they are the actual fight night weights he was fighting at.

Now go back and rewrite your post because youre pissing in the wind like a ****, 2 weight classes is 14 lbs sounds good but its water weight they manipulate over 30hrs, they dont fight at 130 and 147 they are weighin numbers, JMMs fighting weight numbers are 144-150 that in real terms is not even 1 weightclass.

Very hard to talk to you because you are a fanboy thats never boxed and never made weight and that means you have no clue what you are on about you have a fans perspective.

You also can't say that JMM hit him but couldn't seem to hurt him...he could barely even land anything.
I think he was referring to draining Canelo two extra lbs...

Jmm was used to fighting 135 guys. Small guys. You need to acclimate to fighting bigger guys. Hatton said stepping up to 147 he felt difference.
Stop trying to make excuses for floyd.
Floyd resume is a bit underwhelming so jmm still is one of Floyd s better wins though, just not a great win

Pac s win over clottey is better than floyd s win over jmm. Clottey went life and death with cotto.
Floyd fans make out Pac fighting clotte y coming off a loss makes clotte y a bum opponent? Pac made clotte y look amateur compared to how cott o made clotte y look.
                    A great win for pac

You mean guys like Floyd he came the same way.

Hatton didnt say that about Floyd he said it about Collazo 159lbs he weighed, with Floyd he was 153 same weight he was beating KT, you need to read his book you might learn some stuff.

Floyd resume makes Mannys look like a jar of broken biscuits, Floyd beats the brakes of Mannys entire resume and remains undefeated Manny cannot go through floyds resume without about 10 loses, he got beat by some C graders in his own resume, had to be saved by the ref against C grade Hussain lol.
