Floyd was smart. He knew Manny was too dangerous five years earlier when Manny beat Oscar and Floyd refused to fight him. Years later when he seen that Manny was slowing down, he reconsidered. It took Manny getting stopped by Marquez to make Floyd realize it was time. He did the same thing with Cotto.
One of the reasons many of us do not give him the same credit as if he fought them when there was too much risk.

You have your facts mixed up.

Floyd agreed to fight Pacquiao five years earlier. It was Pacquiao who walked away just because of a little drug testing.

Then years later Pacquiao started asking his opponents to do stricter drug testing. Pure hypocrisy.

Did size really play a factor in that fight? It wasn't like Floyd was leaning on JMM or shoving him around the ring.

You also can't say that JMM hit him but couldn't seem to hurt him...he could barely even land anything.

You can tell the dudes that have never fought or been in the ring before when they think the only factor to size is being able to push guys around the ring.

The size and length difference between the two fighters was apparent from the start.
