how did he avoid him though? he offered him a huge career high payday. what more could he do? he cant make wilder fight him. why ont you ever point that critical eye towards wilder? does it only go one way? wilder turning down huge paydays to fight lesser fighters(on paper) why did wilder avoid joshua? it wasnt for more money we know that. so it must have been fear unless you have another reason why he avoided joshua?

I claimed he was unranked based off the source you gave me... Here take a look:you were wrong. you claimed stevens was unranked.
undefeated WBA titleholder Gennady Golovkin broke down No. 9-rated Curtis Stevens to an eighth-round stoppage with Stevens’ corner halting the bout at the end of the round. “GGG” cannot improve his No. 1 rating. Stevens will drop from No. 9 to No. 10

Do you not see the difference between this picture vs the article?
You literally pointed to him being #10... THAT'S WRONG LMAOComment

so you are saying you knew he was ranked #9 all along even while you were saying he was unranked? oh my god this is great stuff. can you own goal yourself anymore than this?Comment

No, I'm saying I asked you to source your claim. You gave me a source saying Stevens was unranked when he fought G
One take away from this is at least you know how to properly source

Because he didn't want to get tied into Hearns multi fight deals. He wanted a straightener, a straight 50/50 deal between the clear 1 and 2 in the division at the time.how did he avoid him though? he offered him a huge career high payday. what more could he do? he cant make wilder fight him. why ont you ever point that critical eye towards wilder? does it only go one way? wilder turning down huge paydays to fight lesser fighters(on paper) why did wilder avoid joshua? it wasnt for more money we know that. so it must have been fear unless you have another reason why he avoided joshua?Comment

you yourself just admitted you already had cliffs article showing that stevens was ranked #9 so why are you playing dumb and lying all over the place?
i took the annual rankings because i knew you would fall right into the trap of saying but he wasnt reanked at the end of 2012! then i gave you the rankings right before the fight and you came clean saying you already had cliffs article and now you are desperately flailing trying to find something to cling onto. like i said before. take the LComment

As I've explained before, it wasn't Cliff's article that made me believe he was #9, as that could've been a typo. It was the article you just provided.undefeated WBA titleholder Gennady Golovkin broke down No. 9-rated Curtis Stevens to an eighth-round stoppage with Stevens’ corner halting the bout at the end of the round. “GGG” cannot improve his No. 1 rating. Let me educate you on properly sourcing. Cliff is not Ring magazine, he's an editor for boxingscene and sits on the BWAA board if I'm not mistaken. Cliff posting an article on boxingscene that says Stevens was #9 7 years ago doesn't make Stevens #9 7 years ago. Providing a link like you did to the article is what makes Stevens #9 7 years ago, which is why I asked for a source.
Instead of giving me a source you gave me this

What grade did you graduate again?Comment

He literally got offered 100m for the Brezeale fight which he had to do, and then an AJ fight with a rematch option.how did he avoid him though? he offered him a huge career high payday. what more could he do? he cant make wilder fight him. why ont you ever point that critical eye towards wilder? does it only go one way? wilder turning down huge paydays to fight lesser fighters(on paper) why did wilder avoid joshua? it wasnt for more money we know that. so it must have been fear unless you have another reason why he avoided joshua?
He ducked out to fight Brezeale and Fury for less than half that
That is plain and utter facts, Wilder did not want the fight, any other argument is biased bluster devoid of any common sense.
Wilder has taken the easiest path of least resistance his entire pro career year after year, bum after loser, after dweeb avoiding every challenge.
Yet somehow we are supposed to belive it was AJ, who eclipsed Wilders entire career in like 10 fights, was the one who ducked? That makes NO logical sense except in biased, deluded minds
These guys need to put down the crack pipeLast edited by Earl-Hickey; 04-25-2020, 12:58 AM.Comment

lol yeah everything is a typo that you dont like! maybe ring magazine made a typo in their article saying he was #9! you never know!As I've explained before, it wasn't Cliff's article that made me believe he was #9, as that could've been a typo. It was the article you just provided.

thank you. you admit you were wrong and took the L. great job.
also i posted that as a general guide to show you the ranked guys he fought. it wasnt just to show you where stevens was ranked. you tried to nitpick one tiny thing and got owned in the process. great jobComment
